1st Day of Gymnastics Class

Today was Kaitlyn and Colin's 1st Gymnastics class. They were really excited to take the class with their best friend Madi and had been talking about how she was in their class and about their teacher Miss Brenda for the last week. Grandma Young met us there and they were super excited to have her there as well. Mommy was just as excited to have the extra help. Kaitlyn loved the class!!! Colin was not as willing to participate today and did good but we are hoping that next weeks class goes a little smoother. Boys will be boys I guess:) Maybe its his way of saying he doesnt want to be a gymnast and wants to play sports instead:)

Big hugs right before class started:)
Run, Run, Run!
Great form Kaitlyn!
Same with you Colin!
Grandma and Kaitlyn hopping on the numbers in the obstacle course.

Schleich Animals

Kaitlyn and Colin were playing with their Schleich animals today. They love these animals and have quite the collection! They love to line them up on the wood floor and play. Then they decided to fill their barn from Grandma and Papa Willis with all of their animals. They fed them corn on the cob and red peppers too. Colin said that since Papa grows corn on his farm that the elephants should eat lots of corn:) Kaitlyn was feeding her animals red peppers...dont know why she picked red peppers???

Our Minnie Mouse

Kaitlyn was playing dress up yesterday. She still hasnt figured out what matches with what but thats ok:) Here she is wearing her pink Minnie Mouse Dress, purple feather hat, silver shoes and holding her green Tinker Bell wand.
She loves to dress up and comes up with a different combination everyday!

Fun Filled Day

Today we had a fun filled day with our friends! We went to the mall in the morning and went on a carousal ride, train ride and then had lunch their too! Then tonight we went to Bounces R Us and jumped our hearts out! Mommy and Auntie Kristina jumped with us and took us down the slides. We dont know who had more fun....the mommies or the kids:)
Here are some of the pictures from our fun day
We are in the yellow car. Our friends were in the green car ahead of us. Mommy and Colin going down the STEEP and FAST slide! I think they put Crisco on it:)
Kaitlyn and Colin decided that Spiderman was too big and scary to go near him!!!!
This was Kaitlyns favorite inflatable to go in. It had a slide in it too.
Kaitlyn, Colin and Madi in the ball pit
More ball pit fun

Dress Up Time

Auntie Jill & Aunt Shari really scored with these dress up clothes as you can tell! They crack us up everytime they dress up! We converted their toy box into a place for their dress up clothes. They can now dress and undress themselves (as you can see by Colin in the picture below) and they are getting really good at it. The picture of Colin in his diaper was done fully by himself. For some reason he likes to wear his cowboy boots in the buff:)
The more jewelry the better for Kaitlyn! Look at the size of that ring!
She loves hats and scarves too! Tinker Bell
Look at her pretty wings:)

Our Mom Rocks!

I watch my nephew Quintin one day a week, which most of you know, and I had a rough day with him the other day. He did not want to sleep when he was here. When my sister came to pick him up she kept thanking me for watching him and them sent my kids into the room with these hats on that said My Mom Rocks! It made me laugh:) So no, I did not buy these for my kids. Kel wanted to get the point across that I work hard at my job everyday staying home with the kids...I am sure every stay at home mom can understand:) The kids were being so silly this morning at breakfast while wearing their hats that I could not resist taking some pictures!

Tea Party

Kaitlyn and Colin had a tea party tonight. I love that they both play with eachothers toys. A few weeks ago on the blog I posted pictures of them fixing things with Colins tool kit. Tonight poor Colin got suckered into having a tea party with Kaitlyns tea set. I guess it goes both ways:) They had a great time and served some pretty tasty tea to Cam and I!!

Kaitlyn downed her tea like it was a shot!
Colin sipped it because he was worried it was too hot:)

Trampoline Fun!

Kaitlyn was having so much fun jumping on the trampoline that the kids got from Grandma and Papa Willis on Christmas. She seems to get more and more daring on her height with each day!
Colin loves to jump too! He had just woke up from his nap and did not feel like jumping too high he said. No wonder they go to bed by 7 pm and sleep for 12 hours straight! They jump all day and it wears them out! I would suggest one of these for all parents who want their kids to sleep through the night:)

Saturday Night and Sunday Morning....

Saturday we celebrated mine and Kellys birthdays together at my parents house. We dressed the kids up in their matching outfits and tried to take some pictures but they were acting too silly:) They are so cute together and you can tell how much these cousins love eachother!!!! Poor Quintin is so overwhelmed by how wild my kids can get though:)
Quintin thinks his cousin is nuts!
Valentines Day came early at Grandma and Papa Youngs house on Saturday night and Colin was so excited to get lots of Duplo Lego people for his Lego table!!! Here he is playing with them this morning.
He even shared them with Kaitlyn too!
Grandma and Papa Young bought Kaitlyn a Snap N Style Doll with tons of clothes too. She LOVES these dolls by Fisher Price! They are so cute because the clothes snap on and off and are so easy for her to do by herself. Here she is playing with them this morning.
Yes, Colin loves these dolls too....they say at this age its ok for boys to play with dolls right? His favorite is the snowboarding outfit so its not as if he likes to dress them up in the feminine clothes:)
