What a week it has been. It all started Monday morning. We were rushing to get out the door(as usual) to get to school and then I was going to the gym. Kaitlyn had spilled her yogurt all over the floor. She tried to wipe it up with a baby wipe before I saw. I came rushing thru the kitchen barefoot and didnt see the spill and slipped. My feet went right out under me and I fell SO hard on the wood floor. It hurt pretty bad but I took some Motrin and went about my day. I was pretty sore at the gym but pushed through it(which my dr said was the worst thing i could do). I ended up working out Mon, Tues and Wed. Thursday I was so miserable that I went to the dr. They opted not to do x-rays yet and gave me Norco which is a narcotic. I was taking 2 pills every 4-6 hours and not having any relief. I spent the next 2 days at home in bed. By Saturday I was a mess....screaming in pain whenever I tried to move. Cam took me to the hospital. I was given a heavy dose injection in my butt for pain. Despite being terrified of the shot I was glad I did. I was in la-la land and finally having some relief! They did x-rays of my pelvis and spine and said I have a severe ruptured disc. They also saw a hairline that might be a fracture. We are going to hold off on the MRI til I see how I do this week. The dr was shocked that I wasnt having relief from the Norco so I am on the strongest narcotic they can give. Sadly I am not pain free which is frustrating me! Saying I am devastated about not being able to go to CrossFit is an understatement. My main focus is to get batter and get better fast!! This has really been the pits:( So thats my sob story. You know I was in excruciating pain when I risked missing Zachary's 1st birthday party. In the post below you will see that I made it:) I was pretty drugged up and in my slippers but at least I made it for the end!!

Zachary's 1st Birthday Party
Yesterday was Zachary's 1st Birthday party. I was obviously late but SO happy I was able to get there for the end. Zachary was obviously much more interested in his milk than smiling for this family pic:)
How cute is his shirt and his matching cakes from Deerfields bakery that Grandma ordered.
YUM, YUM!!! We call Zachary our Moosey Moose. Hence the moose theme party and my mom made him a moose crown to match his shirt:)
This kid is an eating machine....I think he would have eaten the cardboard if we let him!
I got there just in time to see him eat his cake. He loves his Auntie Stacey BUT.....
he absolutely LOVES his food too:)

I should have known.....
As you can see below....I must have forgot to sign off of my blog account when I was at my sisters house this week and was blogging on her laptop. Hence the post below that I OBVIOUSLY didn't write. So not only has she broke into my FB account but now my blog. I do love ya Kel but remember that I watch your boys 3 days a week:) Muah!!
******To make it even better and get Kel back I changed the picture below to Kristina and I instead of Kel and I...Love you Kel LOL:)********
My AMAZING sister!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that I love my sister so much! She is the kindest, most amazing woman I know. She is beautiful on the inside and out. Everyday I aspire to be just like her. I love you Kelly!

♥ Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
The kids were so excited for their Valentines party at school. We stuffed these cute heart boxes with a Valentine fruit by the foot and a Valentine granola bar for the kids in their class...yum!
***I have to tell a super cute story! Colin came up to me last night with his hand behind his back. He had went thru his Valentines stuff from school. He said "Happy Valentines Day Mommy!" Then he handed me a little red heart box "for your wedding ring" he said! My heart melted that he was so sweet to think of his mommy and give me one of his presents from his own school valentine box. He gets these sweet qualities from his daddy:) I love my boys so much! Cam has a heart of gold and he passed it on to Colin. I love you too Kaitlyn! Thanks for saying to mommy about 25x yesterday "Happy Valentines Day Mommy"! She even had to get one more out from her room yelling thru the video monitor. I feel SO blessed to have an amazing husband and children!!
Kaitlyn & Colin were so excited to find a little Valentine treat on the table from mommy and daddy:)

Our 2 Love Bugs!!
Hope everyone enjoyed a nice Valentines Day with loved ones!!

Last weekend we went to Toys Story 3 on Ice at the United Center! They kids were SO excited! The best part for the adults is that we are in a skybox and the kids have room to move around! Kaitlyn, Madi and Makenna decided to wear their matching Hello Kitty Vests and then their Twinkle Toes shoes:)

Thanks Grandma for our Toy Story shirts! Colin and Quintin were in Toy Story heaven:)

Uncle Cam and Moose!

Competition!!
I have to confess that we are struggling in our house right now with the kids competing for EVERYTHING! Not sure if its a twin thing since they are the same age or what. They argue who gets to go first, etc. Even the kids swim instructor noticed it during their private lessons since its just the 2 of them. Racing across the pool to beat each other and who is a faster swimmer etc. I know its absolutely ridiculous but its a real issue Cam and I are dealing with right now and trying to nip in the bud asap! We do stress that life isnt fair and when we grab a handful of grapes each kid isnt going to get the same number and thats just how life goes but they still are having a hard time grasping it:(
So can you guess what I made???
Thats right....a Fairness Cup:)

I opened up 2 clothes pins and wrote a "C" on one and a "K" on the other. Whenever we have a dispute who gets to go first etc I pull a clip and thats the end of it.
But my kids are two smart for me...they are asking for best out of 3 now:)
Nobody ever tells you how hard parenting really is do they:)
