If you dont like commotion then.....

you would go stir crazy in our house:) We are always having fun and tend to laugh a lot and be very noisy! Here is proof! After about 5 minutes of Cam and I watching the kids run in circles I had to tape it....here's a typical afternoon in the Willis house....commotion & lots of giggles...and we wouldn't change it for anything:)

Dance Machines

Every once and awhile the kids get a hold of my ipod. I need to have upbeat music to get me going with my workout when I run....so why not listen the Black Eyed Peas:) The kids love the beginning part of "Imma Be" and dance to it. We were showing my parents their dance moves tonight when they were here. We were cracking up!! Here they are dancing:)

Kaitlyn was jumping and dancing around so much that she got a belly ache!!!

Egg Hunt at School

After visiting with Carrie this morning I went to pick up the kids from school. They were doing a quick egg hunt right before school let out. It was pretty chilly out but the kids didn't seem to mind:) Here are all of the eggs on their playground!
Coming outside...notice the cars lined up behind the fence...I have to say its really nice that we get to drive up and they bring the kids out to us at the car. Makes drop off in the morning and pick up afterwards much faster:)
Video of the kids getting ready to go find eggs. I love that my SLR camera has a video option on it!!!

They each were able to find one egg and then they had to go back and count again....they closed their eyes....look at Colin showing his fingers..1-2-3......
GO!!!!

Kaitlyn found a purple egg.

Colin found an orange one!

The kids are excited to be on Spring Break next week and spend some time with Daddy since he is home too. With the nice weather coming next week we are going to head to downtown Chicago and enjoy some family time. And of course visit the Willis Tower:)

Meeting Baby Bryce

This morning I went to see my friend Carrie and her adorable baby who is only a few weeks old. Bryce's Big Sis was out with her grandparents so I didn't get to see her. It was nice though to be able to sit and chat with Carrie without any of the big kids around:) Kaitlyn and Colin were at school and but kept asking this morning if school got cancelled so could they come with me:) Thanks for letting me snuggle with Bryce and it was great getting to hang out this morning Carrie! He is too cute!!

The boys!

Quintin and Colin think its SO cool that they have the same Batman shirts!! Aren't they so cute?!?! Kel and the boys came over to hang out last night and stay for a quick dinner. The kids had so much fun playing outside!
I told Kel to take Quintin home and put him to bed and leave Zachary with us and I would bring him home around 11pm. Poor Zachary was having a fussy night when he was with us. I was so happy that we were able to help Kel out and give her a break especially knowing that Zachary was having a tough night! I have to say that Cam is seriously like the baby whisperer!! He loves babies and has the patience of a saint!!! He was so helpful with Zach when he was fussy. We finally got him to fall asleep later on. Awwww..couldn't you just eat him up?!?!

Grandma & Papa Willis Visit!

Last weekend Grandma and Papa Willis came to visit us! We were SO excited to have them here! Cam and I had his school fundrasier Gala Friday night and grandma and papa babysat the kids for us so we could enjoy a nice night out! We had a great time and appreciated them coming up to babysit!
Kaitlyn and Papa snuggling:)

Poor Grandma...the kids were playing dr....she got poked and prodded by the kids and was such a good sport!!!

The kids love play-doh! They had fun making all kinds of stuff with grandma and papa!!

Their food creations!
Thanks again for your help this weekend grandma and papa!! The kids were so sad to see you go but look forward to seeing you for Easter next weekend!!

Kids Day

Last weekend our church, The Chapel, was having a Kids Day Event. We went last year and the kids really enjoyed it! Grandma and Papa Willis were in visiting this weekend so we all went to the event Saturday morning. The kids were excited to get to see Gibby from the show iCarly on Nickelodeon. Here he is speaking with Brent, our campus pastor.
Signing his autograph for K & C!

Kaitlyn and Colin with Noah Munck(Gibby)

Kaitlyn was a little unsure of the clown..notice the distance:)
He was telling them he had a monkey in his basket.....he opened it up and there was a mirror inside so they could see themselves...silly monkeys:)
Playing some games!

Cam took my other camera(see why its great to have a spare in your purse:)) with Colin and Papa and they went to the Reptile Show. Kaitlyn, Grandma and myself went to do other activities. Look at this huge snake!!! Eww!!!!
Colin LOVED the show. This was his favorite reptile...the gator. He even went up and touched a huge turtle!!

Kaitlyn did some spin art with paint and glitter.

Enjoying some climbing fun!!

The Chapel did a great job!! The kids had a lot of fun!!!

St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day!!!
Last Wed we went to meet some friends from the kids class at Chuck E Cheese for Kiara's 4th birthday. The kids had a lot of fun!!
Good throw Colin!!

Kaitlyn & Kiara playing a game:)

Happy Birthday Kiara!! Thanks for a fun afternoon!!!

Spring is Here!!

Last week we had some beautiful weather and spent a ton of time outside so we could enjoy it!!! We pulled the bikes out and the kids were so happy!! I am so proud of Kaitlyn and Colin for ALWAYS wearing their helmets when they ride their bikes and we never have to remind them to do it! They never have given us a problem about it and they know just like putting their seat belt on in the car they have to wear a helmet to ride their bike!

They moved on from their bikes to playing a game of soccer....getting the cones set up!

Then they moved onto golf! Santa brought them real golf clubs for Christmas. And boy is Santa happy he didn't spend a fortune on them since the kids have already putted on the asphalt driveway and their clubs look pretty banged up. Because they are real clubs we have to be really careful that nobody gets hit when they swing!!!
Kaitlyn has the pink whiffle golf balls
Colin's are yellow

The kids were pooped and taking a little rest...I was tired from just watching them run around and have fun:)

Happy 90th Birthday Grandpa!!!

We want to wish a special Happy 90th Birthday to my grandpa...the kids Great Papa! The kids miss Great Papa and Great Grandma Betty so much! They live in San Diego and we haven't seen them in about a year and a half when we were all out in California. Here are some pics from our visit in Oct 2008.

Meeting their great grandkids for the first time!!

Since we couldn't be in San Diego to celebrate we decided to make Grandpa a stepping stone with all 4 of his great grandkids hand prints in it. We did it about 2 weeks ago but I had to wait to post in on here til he received the package since they check my blog and we didnt want to spoil the surprise. Zachary was hanging out in his Nap Nanny while we started to get ready to make the stepping stone:)

Auntie Kelly said she would make the cement if I helped the kids do their handprints.

We had to use Zachary's foot since he is so small!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandpa!!!! We love and miss you!!!
