Carving Pumpkins

Last night the Harvey's came over for pizza and pumpkin carving! It was fun..but much more work than we planned:) Thanks Auntie Kristina for buying the cool tracers for our daddy so we could have Minnie and Mickey pumpkins....we love how our pumpkins turned out!! Here we are getting ready to carve! Colin was helping Daddy clean out his pumpkin! Good job Colin!

Ewww...look at all of that stuff Kaitlyn was getting out of her pumpkin!
Here is Daddy working away to trace Mickey Mouse...you all didn't think he was "that" talented that he did it freehand did you? :)
Colin was SO proud of his pumpkin!!
We had to put candles inside them to get the full effect....pretty neat!!!!
Here is Kaitlyn's....Minnie Mouse!

By this time it was WAY past bedtime and the kids were ready for bed......they smiled for one last pic before they were off to dream about trick or treating the next day!!!

Another Pumpkin Farm Visit!

Mommy took us to the little pumpkin farm by our house today for a special date! We had fun! We were sad though that the real reason we had to go back to the pumpkin farm was to buy some more pumpkins as some kids smashed ours when we were in California:( It must be the fun thing for kids to do around here which is sad! We needed pumpkins because the Harvey's are coming over tomorrow night for pizza and we are having a carving party! We are looking forward to it! Of course we will have more pics to post from our carving night:)
Here we are riding the barrel train with mommy at the farm.

Cupcake Day...Yum!

Today we went to Grandma and Papa Young's new house to bake cupcakes. They haven't moved in yet so while Grandma waited for new furniture to be delivered she figured we should try out her new appliances and bake!!! There was one worker there and I am sure he had a headache when he left as the kids were having so much fun but being SO loud and everything echos in there with no furniture!! Here is Grandma posing with her grandkiddy's!! Yes, Colin does have an apron on:)
Waiting so patiently to mix the cake batter!!Mixing Time!! Grandmas new oven is huge!! We were watching the cupcakes bake and couldn't wait for them to be done! They were finally ready...yippee!!!Then we found out that you needed real ice cream cones to put the cakes in...so we had a small change in our plans. Grandma came back to our house with us and we bought some ice cream cones and finished our cupcakes at our house. We were sad that Quintin had to go home and take a nap.Kaitlyn LOVES sprinkles!! We didn't catch her in time and she went overboard with the sprinkles just a little bit!! Yikes!
Do you think she liked her cupcake?!?! Not sure if you can tell in the pic but she actually clogged her nose with chocolate frosting...we were cracking up!! Kaitlyn doesnt mind getting a little messy! Colin is a sprinkle lover as well!!
He was enjoying his cupcake but stayed much cleaner than Kaitlyn! He doesnt enjoy getting messy:)You did a great job K, C & Q!!! We cant wait to do it again Grandma!!! Thanks for a fun day!

Bears Brunch

Today was Grandma Young's 60th birthday. Auntie Kelly decided to celebrate with a Bears brunch at her house since Grandma is such a HUGE Bears fan. She told her to wear her Bears gear. Grandma showed up in regular clothes and we were all bummed as we were all dressed in our Bears gear. Oh well! We were being silly before we left to go to Auntie Kelly and Uncle Randy's House.
GO BEARS!
We even had Bears balloons to play with!!
Kaitlyn liked Grandmas lipstick color and she wanted to try some on...Daddy looked the other way and Grandma put some on. So pretty!!!
Daddy said no more lipstick til I am 21!! :)
Quintin saying "Cheese!"....only because he wanted a piece of cheese:)
Making a wish....Happy Birthday Grandma...You look great for 60!!!!

Halloween Party

Saturday night we went to Madi and Makenna's Halloween Bash! Auntie Kristina did a great job making sure we had plenty of crafts to make and treats to enjoy!! We really had a good time! We were a little confused why we were not trick or treating since we were in our costumes but mommy and daddy promised that we will go on Friday:) Here we are as future doctors with our cousin Quintin the Harley biker! The night wouldn't be complete without a pic of the 3 amigos!! Where was the other zebra?? Now that Makenna is getting older we might have to call ourselves the 4 amigos:) Mommy, Auntie Kelly and the kiddos
We took a ton of group shots and this was one of the many so it was hard to choose....a few kids are missing I think???Abby and Quintin didnt know what to think of all the chaos:) They had a good time exploring all of Madi & Makennas toys!
Auntie Kelly was getting ready to help Colin decorate his treat bag. Each kid received a bag full of goodies, books, and neat stuff to take home!
Kaitlyn and Madi were making their pumpkin crafts.
Big hugs!!!Doesnt he look like Dr. McDreamy??......I beg to differ with Uncle Brandon who said he looked like George from Grey's:) He, He...just kidding Brandon!!!!

The Past Few Days

Daddy went to Madison for business for a few days so we were home alone with mommy. We had to stay in the majority of the time as we were still recovering from being sick but we had lots of fun! We did movie and popcorn night and craft night too! One day mommy had to get out of the house so she dropped us off at Auntie Kelly's so she could run errands. Mommy was able to get some stuff done and we had fun playing with Quintin. Here are some pictures that Auntie Kelly took of us.
We loved crawling through the tunnel!!Cheese!!

Tuesday morning mommy heard us screaming and came running....look in the tree to see what what we were screaming at!!! We were so excited that we spotted a squirrel (he is down by the bottom in the center)!!! By the noise level mommy thought it was a mouse:) Now every morning we look for that silly squirrel and sure enough he is sitting there for our enjoyment:)

Today Madi and Makenna came over so Auntie Kristina could get ready for their Halloween party tomorrow. We cant wait to go to it!!! We enjoyed having them here this morning!!

Before lunch we colored some Halloween pics. It was a fun morning!!

Happy Fall!

Today a photographer came to take a family picture of us at Grandma and Papa Young's new house in the woods. Then we went inside the house to see the progress. Its pretty much move in ready!!! Yippee! The cousins were hanging out on the stairs....you would think they were all "smiled out" after doing the photo shoot in the woods but they had a few smiles left in them:) Aunt Kelly and Colin
Then Cam and I took some of our own pics of the kids........

This one is our favorite!!!!
