1st Dentist Visit & Swimming

Today we went to see a pediatric dentist for the first time. We did really well getting our teeth examined!!! Dr. Pollina is a friend of our Uncle Jims who is a dentist too. He had funny stories to tell us about Uncle Jim and when they were in dental school together:)

Here we are getting our teeth counted. Kaitlyn has 19 teeth! Colin has 20 teeth!
We came home and our cousin Quintin came over with Auntie KK to play and have dinner.

All full of sunscreen and ready to go!
First we went in the sprinkler in the front yard.
Then we moved to the pool in the back yard. We didn't fill the pool up very much as the water was so cold and Quintin was in the pool with us.
We tried out the pool slide too!

Navy Pier

We had a lot of fun at Navy Pier in Chicago today! It was a hot one though!! It was Cams last day off of work for the summer and I think we have accomplished everything we had on our list of fun things to do this summer! The kids loved seeing the water and all of the boats!

It was funny how other families would ask us to take their picture and then we turned around and asked them to take ours. We were able to have 2 family pictures taken.

More Water Park Fun!

Boy have we been busy this summer! We have had so much fun and there always seems to be so many pictures to share with you all. Tomorrow we are heading to Navy Pier downtown so another fun day:) Today we went to the Woodstock Water Works park with Grandma and Papa Young.

Tyler's 1st Birthday Bash!

We had a lot of fun at our friend Tyler's 1st Birthday bash! It was a monkey theme and the decorations were so cute!!! All of the kids took pictures with the monkey....here are our little monkeys:) Kaitlyn was loving her banana smoothie with an umbrella straw!!

Summer Fun!

What a fun day we had yesterday!!! Thanks to Madi & Makenna's grandparents for lunch and for the semi tour!!! We went with Madi and Auntie Kristina to a kiddie water park. Then we went out to lunch with Madi's grandparents and to see her Grandpas semi truck. Colin's loves semi's so this was right up his alley! It was a beautiful day out too! Mommy and Auntie Kristina took more pictures than you can imagine so here are just a few:)

We loved playing inside and pushing all of the buttons. We even got to blow the loud horn...toot toot!!!
Then we went and sat on the fork lifts!

Reward Day!!!

We have been SO proud of Kaitlyn and Colin that they are potty trained and doing so well!! We took them for a special reward to Chuck E Cheese today since Cam was off. They ask you at the door if its a special day and because we said that it was and told them why we came K & C got special stickers to wear and some free tokens! There were barely any people there so it was nice. Here they are watching for the Chuck E Cheese show to start. Mommy and Kaitlyn....notice Kaitlyn was watching out of the corner of her eye for Chuck E Cheese...she loves to go there but is terrified of him when he comes out and walks around:)

Of course we used our tickets to pick out a toy or two. Kaitlyn picked out a ring and two pink hair extensions. Cam thought it would be funny to wear Kaitlyn's pink hair extensions on the way home. The kids thought he was hilarious:) We had a great time and love that we are saving money everyday that they wear underwear and not diapers!!!!
