Easter Bunny Visit

Today we went to see the Easter Bunny for the first time this year. The kids were so excited!!! Here they are waving to the bunny! Big smiles for the bunny!

Adventurous Kids

These were too funny and had to be shared! This morning Cam, the kids and myself looked through some old pictures and had a good time laughing, smiling and also feeling sad that our kids are growing up so fast! When K & C were little Cam and I surely could not blink our eyes for fear they would get into something as they usually did. Here are some fun pics. I didn't want to single out Colin having so many pics of him being "adventurous" but he was our monkey and still is:) Why would Colin sit in the swing and enjoy a nice ride when he could hang over and grab the wipes and empty the container if we would have let him:)

Are you stuck Colin....yep, he got up there but was mad because he couldn't figure out how to get down!

Holy Cow! They used to open the cabinet door as you can see and Kaitlyn climbed right up on TOP of their play kitchen. Yikes!

After a messy lunch as you can tell by their shirts...they opened the bottom oven drawer and climbed right in. We ended up having to tape, yes tape, the drawer closed to keep them out!

Ah, Colin and the crib days. Notice his crib is turned backwards. I pushed the lower end towards the wall so he couldn't get out. So he went out the side of the crib. Smart cookie wasn't he?!?! I opened his door when I saw him trying to climb out and caught him in the act...busted!!!

So we put him in a toddler bed knowing he wouldn't stay in his crib. Being able to freely roam his room during naps he choose to do handstands, yes HANDSTANDS, against his door instead of sleep. I didn't think anyone would believe this so I took a picture of the video monitor. See him in the right corner of the screen doing a beautiful handstand:)

But we wouldn't trade these moments for anything!!!

Farm Grandma and Papa Visit

We went to visit our "farm Grandma and Papa" last weekend. We love going to visit them and seeing all of our cousins! Our new thing to do in the car is find Waldo....we love these books! It helps pass the 3 1/2 hour car ride too! We loved driving with our comfy PJ's on!

Saturday morning we went to a Spring Kids Event at the mall. The kids had fun! This was neat....Colin was trying to hit these floating balls and win a prize by throwing a little ball at them. He thought it was magic that the balls were floating in mid air:) Good throw Colin!!

They loved this worm bouncer and slide! We have seen a lot of bouncers but not one like this...pretty fun!!!

Kaitlyn had her face painted. She chose a pretty pink and yellow flower design with glitter! Surprising, with her really sensitive skin, she didnt have an allergic reaction!

There was a balloon guy there. He was silly and told mommy to use his camera and take his picture. Mommy knew something was fishy about it and everyone was watching her. She took the picture and it was a trick camera....zapped her finger and she screamed. Everyone thought it was funny except mommy:)

Colin got a sword with a belt to put it in. These things were barely hanging on 2 days later and had to be tossed tonight after bedtime....hope we don't have tears in the morning!

We also went to visit Great Grandma Boots and her dog Tucker. We love seeing Grandma Boots but are afraid of her big dog!!!

Uncle KC played with us and helped us make roads out of dominoes.

Triple Trouble:) Everett, Kaitlyn and Colin are going to be partners in crime someday! They play so well together though! They were resting and watching a movie. Look how sweet they are sitting together! We thought it was so cute that Everett called K & C in the car when we were driving home so he could talk to them.

Goggles in the Shower?!?!

We love showering with our kids Speedo goggles on. We don't get water in our eyes when we wear them. We have to take them off when we get our hair washed though. Mommy and Daddy said they are for the pool this summer and not shower toys!

Hat Making Night

Tonight Grandma Young, Auntie Kelly and Quintin came over. Papa, Uncle Randy and daddy were all at working late so we decided to have a craft and dinner night. We all went to Michael's and picked out hats and decorations for them. These hats are going to stay at Grandma and Papas house so we each have a hat at home and one at their house. We love wearing them!! Kaitlyn was trying on Auntie Kelly's Ugg Boots. Wish her pink baby Uggs still fit her from Kaley:) They are in her baby keepsake box! Colin and Quintin picked out the same pirate hats...ARRRRR!!!

Weekend Pics

We had a good start to the weekend but ended up sick! K & C both have runny noses and Colin has a yucky cough. Saturday we went to our church for a Kids Indoor Carnival. The kids had a good time! Uncle Randy, Auntie Kelly and Quintin came. We saw a few of our other friends there as well. These are two pics of the reptile man showing a turtle and lizard. Colin LOVED seeing all of the reptiles!!
Kaitlyn saw her friend Bella there. We were waiting in line to get fingerprinted. The lines were pretty long for things and Kaitlyn was bummed she didn't get to have any face painting done because the line was way too long!

A police officer did all 10 of her fingerprints on a card. She was excited to take it home!

Colin loved the huge slide. Here he is coming down pretty fast!

That night our friends Alivia and Mike came over with baby Jakob. The mommys and kids went for a walk and then we all had dinner. Jakob was so good and is just the cutest little thing!! We even got to hold him!

Colin is a baby lover....always wants to hold babies:) Its so sweet!

Kaitlyn was helping mommy take care of our neighbors flowers while they are in Florida. The funny thing is mommy cant seem to keep ANY plants or flowers alive. She is stressing about these little things that they live til the neighbors get back next weekend!!

Sunday we decided not to go to church and spread our germs to everyone. We stuck around the house and relaxed. We finger painted which was so much fun!

And were able to use paint pens too!

Sunday night we played a little ABC Bingo with mommy and daddy. We enjoyed some treats too. Our friend Madi and her grandma were sweet enough to make some extra cookies for us to have and dropped them off. Yummy!

Terrific Thursday!

Yesterday we were able to spend some time with Grandma Young. She was nice enough to come babysit us so mommy and her friend could go get mani/pedi's. Mommy enjoyed herself and we had fun with Grandma!! She took us to Michael's so we could pick out a craft. Mommy was nervous with them going to the store, not because she didnt trust Grandma, but she didn't trust us:) Grandma said we listened really well and were very well behaved! Phew! Mommy was so proud of us! We made these hats and decorated them. Colin's is a safari hat and he would sleep in the thing if we let him. He loves it! Thanks for a fun day Grandma!! Kaitlyn picked out a pig hat. Kaitlyn laughs at the hat. When I asked her why she said that she put blue dots which were "boogers in the pigs nose". Only my sweet little Miss Kaitlyn would say such a gross thing:)

That night Auntie Kristina, Uncle Brandon, Madi and Makenna came over for dinner. We played so well! Funny how a house can go from clean to a toy mess in 5 min:) Colin and Madi were checking Makenna out.

Did you ever know a laundry basket could be so fun? Kaitlyn was getting checked out too by Dr. Colin and Dr Madi!

Best Buddies!

The highlight of the night was playing with Uncle Brandon. We took a running start and he helped us flip right over onto the couch.

Colin was getting so much air that he about went through the wall:)

Daddy and Makenna watched us and then she decided to try it out too like the big kids! We had a great night!!
