Putting up the train

Every year my dad comes to help the kids put up their Christmas train that he bought for them when they were born. Here they are getting the track set up. Kaitlyn and Colin are good helpers!

Here is a pic of the kids when they were about 12 months old. Kaitlyn was in awe and Colin was terrified of the train:)

We downsized to a skinny tree this year for sake of space. Cam and I are hearing the bells and whistles of this train in our sleep. They play with it all of the time:)

Elfie(Grandma) came and brought the kids their annual Christmas pjs. Let the holiday season begin!

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

I was asked to help out with the kids Thanksgiving Feast at school. It was a short but cute singing of songs and then they had a Thanksgiving Feast back in their classrooms. Kaitlyn and Grace waiting to sing:)Colin singing away!Enjoying his yummy feast food! Class Picture. I loved how they all sat at one long table for their feast:) I tried to upload the video of the kids singing but it was over 5min so it wouldn't let me post it. It was cute though!

Kaitlyn & Colins 6th Birthday Bowling Bash!

Kaitlyn & Colin had a great 6th birthday bash! They had 33 kids who came to celebrate with them! Thanks to everyone who came and helped make this day special for them!

Some of the girlies! And some of the boys!

Colin going for a spare!

Kaitlyn showing off her bowling skills too:)

An attempt at a group picture. Missing a few kids but we will take what we can get:)

Enjoying some food and watching the slide show!

Getting ready to play a game I made....Bowl a Strike! (same as pin the tail on the donkey:))

Their cupcake cakes from Walmart turned out SO cute!!

Happy 6th Birthday Kaitlyn & Colin! Mommy & Daddy love you both SO much! ♥

After Party at the Circus

Straight from the kids birthday party we headed to Chicago to go to the circus. Special thanks to Auntie Kristina, Uncle Brandon, Madi and Makenna for the AWESOME birthday gift of circus tickets in the suite at the United Center! Quintin & Zachary came too! The grandparents and Uncle Billy & Auntie Lauren came too! Such a fun filled day!! Papa was holding Kaitlyn up so she could see the pre-shows that were going on.
The kids were able to meet 2 clowns:)

Kaitlyn was terrified of this guy on stilts! Colin thought he was super cool!

The kids wanted cotton candy so we caved and bought some. They came with these silly hats. I about fell over when the guy told me it was $24 for 2 cotton candy bags!!!

Best Buddies!

Grandma & Papa surprised the kids and had the United Center staff roll in a cake for their birthday. I had no idea so it was a fun surprise for all of us!

Blowing out their candles for the 2nd time that day:)

Grandma cut the cake while Uncle Brandon was being silly:)

YUM!

What a wonderful way to end the kids birthday celebration! Thanks to everyone who helped make it so special for Kaitlyn & Colin!!
