Not my kids!!!!!

Sunday night we went out for pizza with the neighbors. We came home and were hanging out outside across the street. The older kids walked Kaitlyn and Colin across the street to our house so they could get their bikes and bring them back over to where we were. Mind you we could see our house from where we were standing but obviously did not see our kids get into Cams car!!! Yikes! I think there was a dare involved:) Anyways, all of a sudden we heard honking as if someone was laying on the horn! I instantly knew it was MY kids!! I ran home and sure enough they were in Cams car LAYING and I mean LAYING on the horn. His car was reversed in the garage so all I could see running up the driveway was them cracking up and belly laughing as they were in his car honking the horn non stop! I tried to open the door and they had locked it. Obviously not a proud parenting moment for me!! They were laughing and wouldn't stop. I had to go get Cam because I couldn't find his car keys. While he was getting his keys I had to snap some pictures. They thought they were just hilarious! I think the honking went on for 5 LONG minutes and woke up the whole neighborhood!! What stinkers they are!!!

Tylers 2nd Birthday Party

Saturday night we went to our friend Tylers 2nd birthday party. It was an Elmo party! Here we are with mommy before we left:)
Kaitlyn and the birthday boy Tyler on the swings!
Thanks Hayley for pushing Kaitlyn!!

Colin, Bella and Ella on the tire swing. This was one of their favorite things on Tylers swing set!

Ella, Kaitlyn and Bella took a spin too!

Yes, my daughter is on a climbing wall wearing a dress:) And wearing her fancy Lindy Lu flip flops from grandma too!

Colin playing with Tyler in his sand box!

The kiddos were ready to play pin the nose on Elmo!!

Heidi was giving Kaitlyn a spin...she was pretty dizzy!

Instead of giving Elmo a nose Kaitlyn put it on his belly button. She thought that was silly!

Spins for Colin too! No peeking!!

Colin gave Elmo an ear instead of a nose:)

The kids were enjoying yummy Elmo cupcakes!!

Colin loved his as you can tell!!
Thanks Tyler for a fun party! Happy Birthday!!

New Family Picture

Last week we decided to have a new family picture taken. The quality is not great on these because when I scanned them in they became pretty dark!
We were not going to get any individual pics of the kids but these were too cute to not buy:)

Kaitlyn and her Bitty Baby Kaylee have matching dresses. Kaitlyn wanted Kaylee to wear the matching dress on our picture day. They looked so cute together:)

1st Boating Trip!

Last Sunday Ron and Tina invited us and the Harvey's over to go on their boat and for a BBQ. We had such a great time and the kids went on their first boat ride and we able to tube too! Jake had lots of pirate dress up stuff. Here are Colin, Jake, Madi and Kaitlyn being pirates...ARRR!!
Colin, Jake, Kaitlyn, Madi and Makenna taking a rest on the swing.

Jake has this amazing(which is an understatement) tree house with 3 slides that his dad built for him. Colin LOVED it!! Here is my little pirate climbing to the top!

Not sure whats with Kaitlyn and her tongue lately...its always hanging out:)

Pretty smiles from Kaitlyn...she was waiting to go on the boat!

Getting ready for their first boat trip!!

Colin and Daddy!

Mommy and Kaitlyn!

Ron even let the kids drive the boat for a little bit!

After we all went for a fun boat ride the moms decided(not sure if it was a smart idea or not) to let the dads take the kids out to go tubing while we watched from the dock. Here is Cam with the 4 big kids!

Video of them pulling away from the dock:)

Video of Kaitlyn tubing!!

Kaitlyn and Daddy!

She waved as she went by!

Video of Colin tubing. He went around the whole 5 mile lake and didnt fall off! Way To Go Colin!!!

Daddy & Colin!

Colin was so cute on the tube and gave me a wave when he went by. In most of the pics his cheeks were all puffed out from holding his breath:)

Family pic!

Cam and Brandon decided to tube as well. Cam went first while Brandon drove the boat. Boy did Cam have to hold on tight!! Don't worry though....Brandon went tubing second and Cam made sure he had just as much fun as he did:)

Cams tube went straight up and down and believe it or not he stayed on...you can barely see his hand holding on!!!!! Brandon did manage to make him fall off at one point though. Something Cam planned to pay him back when he drove the boat:)
I was so proud of the kids for trying to tube!!! Here they are with me on the dock!
Kaitlyn and Madi were doing some silly dance!!!!

Thanks Ron & Tina for a fun day!!!

Misc. Pics

Last week we were very excited to receive a package in the mail from our Auntie Jill. We forgot our water bottles at her house and she sent them back to us along with a surprise. Shinky Dinks!!! We had to make some as soon as we opened the package. Thanks Auntie Jill for the surprise package! Heres Kaitlyn working on her Hello Kitty shrinky dink.

Colin made Spiderman!

Watching them shrink in the oven:)
They wanted to show off their creations...mommy did the ones with their names on it for them.

Tuesday was the kids last gymnastic class. School will be starting soon and we had a busy summer and need a break. This summer they did soccer camp, gymnastics, art camp, swim lessons and Kaitlyn did dance. Can you say busy and expensive!!!!
Here is Kaitlyn climbing the rope for the first time. The kids did great!
Video of Colin climbing the rope.

Swim lessons proved to be WELL worth the money this summer. The kids took a 2 week intensive class at the heath club by our house. They went from barely putting their face into the water to swimming alone under the water!!! We were SO proud of them! Cam was off one of the weeks and got to see them progress and we were amazed!! They had to be able to swim 10 ft underwater completely unassisted to go up to the advanced level and they did! They start another intensive class Aug 3rd. Here is Kaitlyn at the water park showing off her new swimming skills!

Colin loves this boat slide! We have spent quite a few days at this water park and the kids have a blast!! Hopefully we can squeeze in a few more visits this summer...wish the weather would cooperate though! Its been SO cold:(

The Harvey's joined us one day and the kids had so much fun being fishies in the water! Here they are enjoying a snack and being silly:)

Colin was playing with Benderoos. I am not so sure I like them because my table had wax residue all over it and its hard to get off but the kids loved them!!
Auntie Jill gave Colin clothes that were his cousins and they always looked SO big to me. Now he is fitting into the stuff which means he is getting big. Thanks Auntie Jill for the clothes!! Colin- you need to stop growing up too fast!! :)

My kids are an infomercials dream! They repeat everything they say on TV! "But mom they are no glue, no sticky, no messy! You can even put them on walls." This is all straight from the infomercial! Here are their creations stuck to my kitchen wall! Its proof that putting infomercials on kids channels works and we fell for it!

We went to a BBQ with family at Grandma and Papa Young's house Sat night. It was chilly so we spent the entire night in the screened in porch enjoying a warm fire! Nana and Papa G(our Aunt Shari's parents) came and we were excited to see them! They are so sweet and brought us presents. Here we are with Papa G playing with our new drawing toys and books!

Uncle Jim and Nana were helping us draw Spiderman and Tinkerbell.

We enjoyed some popsicles too with Quintin.

The dads were inside watching the kids at on point. We found them camped out watching TV. Kaitlyn was so cute and putting her arm around Quintin and snuggling. Awww! Q was too interested in the TV and his cup to give Auntie Stacey a smile:)
