Time with the boys!

Kel and Randy had a extremely rough night Thursday night!!!! I got a call around 6:15am that Kel was having some medical complications and needed my help with baby Zachary too. My parents had Quintin for the morning. I got to their house as soon as I could so they could have some much needed R & R and make sure Kel was ok. I LOVED every moment with Zachary!! I even got to give Zach his 2nd bath!! Oh how I forgot how hard, I mean fun, it was to bathe a one week old:) Then I took both Z & Q back to my house for a few hours til Randy & Kel came to get them and had dinner here with us. We had so much fun with the boys! Cam is such a baby lover...he whisked Zach right out of the car seat and snuggled with him:)
Quintin brought his Leapster and him and Colin shared their games and were very busy playing:)

Kaitlyn was all about helping out with Zachary. It was really sweet how helpful she was!

Burping Zach:)

Kisses from Auntie Stacey!!

When Auntie Kelly & Uncle Randy came to pick up the boys the kids listened to a story from Uncle Randy. We were happy to hear that Kel was ok and they both were able to get some much needed R & R!!

Hi-hi-i Day at School

Today was beach/Hawaii day at school. Kaitlyn came home on Tuesday and was talking about Hi-hi-i (Hawaii). It was so cute how she was saying it!! Colin kept correcting her:) Today they were supposed to wear bright colors to school, bring beach towels and a piece of fruit. The class made fruit salad. Yummy!!

Here is a video of the kids this afternoon telling Cam about Hawaii day! Colin had a mouthful of crackers!!! Kaitlyn was talking about how they had their fruit salad snack on their beach towels which the kids thought was fun since they didn't have to sit at the tables:)

New Blankets

We love our "lovey's" that Grandma Young made for us when we were born!! Now that we are 4 years old we are getting too big for loveys! So Grandma said its time to upgrade to big kid blankets. She makes these incredible, yet SO time consuming, chenille blankets! We went to Joann Fabrics on Wednesday and spent TWO hours in the store picking out our fabric. The blanket is layers and layers of fabric so we each had to pick out 5 different styles. We had fun and mommy said we were so well behaved!!
Colin still drags his "lovey" around like Linus with his blanket! So we hope that his new Illini blanket(he HAD to have the Illini one because Daddy loves them) will replace his lovey:)

Here's Kaitlyn's fabric! I have one of these throws and I love it...they are so cozy! Grandma said with baby Zach being here and having to make his stocking and our blankets we definitely wont have them by Easter:) Thanks Grandma for a fun day!!

Swim Lessons

Last Monday the kids started swim lessons back up at the health club. They did really well and had no reservations about getting back into the water and showing off what they know:) I was so proud of them! Madi and Morgan are the other 2 kids in the class so its nice!
Getting used to the water!

Practicing how we float on our backs in the shallow end using our "core muscles" and making sure we are looking up to the ceiling. Miss Sharon is wonderful!! The kids had her for lessons this summer. Just K & C were in the class so they really learned a lot!!

Lots of kicks!!!!

Jumping in!!

Watch out Uncle Craig & Auntie Jill...we will be ready to come visit and swim in your pool this summer:)

We cant wait for next week!!!

Homemade Ipod?!?!

I was out snow blowing and came in the house to find this.......
Kaitlyn had "made an ipod" by using her headphones and plugging them into a spiral notebook. She was being SO dramatic pretending to sing & dance to Carrie Underwood that you would have believed that their was really music coming out of her headphones from her notebook:)
It was too funny!!

Rock on Kaitlyn!!!
