On Monday night the girls were supposed to wear their Halloween costumes to dance class. Kaitlyn was SO excited to show off her adorable Kitty costume!
Here is Kaitlyn Kitty and Madi Monkey all ready to dance!!
Kaitlyn's dance teacher Miss Brittany. Monday night was a ballet night. They switch off every week between tap and ballet.

Showing off her dance moves:)

Smiling for Uncle Brandon who was taking her pic:)

Waiting patiently for her chocolate chip cookie that Miss Brittany passed out to the girls. The girls found out their recital song last week. Its the Good Ship Lollipop. Its going to be so adorable!! Its a tap number! We also saw their costumes on Monday. They are red, white and blue. They get fitted in a few weeks. Then the recital isnt til the end of April.
Kaitlyn cant wait!!

Monday our play group went to The Tree House in Lake Zurich. It was SO much fun!!! The kids had a blast and the moms were able to sit on their comfy leather couches, chit chat and catch up:) We missed Bella, Ben, Jeffery, Abby and Lauren who were not able to make it!!! Here are a few picks of the Kaitlyn and Colin having fun!!!

Terrific Sunday

Today we went out for breakfast to celebrate Grandma Young's birthday which is on Monday. It was nice to spend the morning with our family!! Here is Grandma and her little princess! Happy Birthday Grandma!!!
Papa and his little prince!

Uncle Bill and his friend Lauren:)

Kaitlyn & Quintin
When I saw this card I couldn't resist getting it for Quintin for Halloween. Q has been giving Kel and Randy a real difficult time lately....I keep saying welcome to the terrible 2's:) I remember those days all too well and it was x2!!!

Papa and Colin were passing the time by practicing writing words:)

Colin was a rock start eater!!! He polished off a plate full of silver dollar pancakes! We decided he could be a member of the clean plate club!! Here he is showing off his clean plate and mouth full of pancakes:) Wow Colin! We need to plump him up so he will be ready (weight wise) to transfer to a booster car seat once he turns 4!!

The kids brought mom the single serve coffee pot that she has been wanting to get. All she has to do is pop in a coffee cartridge and she is all set for a yummy cup of coffee. Enjoy Mom!!

Cam and I:)

This afternoon we decided it was too nice outside and to skip naps and let the kids play, play play!

Colin stayed home with daddy and worked in the yard. Kaitlyn and I quickly ran to the grocery store. Then the kids played with the neighbors and did some fun crafts!

Our neighbor John took these next two pics of the kids sitting outside.

They were facing the sun...I think Kaitlyn was blinded:)

Fun Friday Night

Last night we hung out at Grandma and Papa Young's house. Daddy had a school dance to attend so we decided we would go have dinner at their house. Mommy dropped us off to run some errands before dinner. When she came back we were all dressed up...we love our dress up closet at their house! We put on a show for mommy when she got back from her errands. Kaitlyn was in charge(does that surprise you) and she was the choreographer:) Colin and Quintin were back up singers I assume. Kaitlyn insists on wearing her tutu up so high...we were cracking up! Colin was quite the muscular Spiderman and Quintin was Batman I think:) Here is a short video clip of their performance....their were many more.

Look at those muscles!!! They put "Cars" wrapping paper down as their stage. Gotta love a 3 year olds imagination!!

After dinner the 3 little ones got all cozy in their pjs! We had fun!!

Fall Leaves

Today was absolutely beautiful and we had to enjoy it while we could as the weather is getting chilly! We do not have to many trees but leaves were piling up under one of our larger trees and we couldn't resist making piles of leaves and jumping in them:) The kids were rolling around in the leaves and having so much fun.
Note to self....do NOT let your daughter wear her brand new shoes outside to play....they are completely ruined!!! Theres no leather left on the toes:(
Having fun in the leaves!

Being silly!! Colin was using his bucket to collect leaves from the neighbors yard and adding them to our pile of leaves....and using the bucket as a hat too:)

Kaitlyn was hilarious....she was pretending that the rake was a very heavy barbell....This was her muscles face:) All 3 of of were cracking up at her! The more we laughed the worse her facial expressions got:)

Time to JUMP!!! YEAH!!! It was so cute how they were holding hands running across the yard and jumped into the pile of leaves. They were airborn!!

Colin was jumping so high!!!

This was a little dangerous but they wanted to get up high and touch the leaves in the tree. Cam asked Kaitlyn if she could hang from a branch. Sure enough our daredevil did...and she hung there for a long time!
Then they got to sit in the tree like monkeys:)

Monkey #1

Monkey #2

Fall Pics

Sunday was such a beautiful fall day that we decided to enjoy it outside! We took the kids to a walking path by our house. They loved running around through the leaves. Here are some pics from our day.

Then we went to Grandma & Papa Young's house to visit. We took a few pics at their house too:)
Being goofy!!

Stade Farm

Last weekend we went to Stade Farm with the Young family. We have gone the last 2 years together. The kids always have fun but this year it was very, very cold!! Here's our family group shot....my brother had to work so he wasn't there.
Auntie Stacey and Quintin:) He was not feeling too good when we were there and ended up with a 101 fever after we left. Poor kid!

Kaitlyn, Colin, Auntie Kelly, Quintin and some guy in a chicken costume riding the pumpkin train. Those legs hanging over the train car are not his...they were fake...his legs were in the costume as part of the chicken legs. The kids were very intrigued by this guy:)

2 out of 3 isn't bad for smiling kids right:) Poor Quintin was busy trying to sit on the pumpkin so he could smile.

There we go....Q was on his pumpkin and then Kaitlyn started jumping up with excitement and we decided it wasn't worth trying to get all 3 to smile:)

The kids were throwing pumpkins in the wagon. We had so many from Grandma and Papa Willis' farm that we decided that the kids could pick 2 small pumpkins to add to our pumpkin patch at home.

Colin was in charge of the wheelbarrow!

Family Pic:) Despite the cold weather we had a great time!!!
