Dinosaur Dioramas!

The kids are learning about dinosaurs in school. They were assigned an at home family project and had to make dinosaur dioramas. This was a family project which meant the parents were involved. We had SO much fun making them! Here we are all set up and ready to start! Colin and I worked together:)
Colin was forming his volcano.
Daddy and Kaitlyn worked together:)

Cam and I didn't let the kids share ideas and we couldn't see what the other one was doing since the boxes were back to back on the table. I would ask Colin where he wanted things and vise versa for Cam asking Kaitlyn. The thing that is pretty neat is look where they put things. Without knowing they both put their volcano's and their suns on the same side along with other things:) Coincidence...maybe? Twins intuition....maybe?
The kids are SO proud of their projects!!! They worked really hard! Colin is really into dinosaurs so this project was right up his alley. He can tell you what each dinosaur eats and other fun facts:)
Kaitlyn's stories were too cute. She was telling me about her dinosaurs. Here's what she said "This dinosaur is going with her mommy to the mall to shop". Guess Kaitlyn still has more to learn about the dino age:)
We had so much fun and look forward to open house today and to see their displayed dioramas!

GO BEARS!

We were so excited to watch the Bears game today with the hopes that they would go to the Super Bowl!
Bummed they didn't win so we will hope for next year:)

1st Shaving Kit

Kaitlyn and Colin love to watch Cam shave. They laugh and say that he looks like Santa. They are fascinated by him shaving and will stand there and watch. Colin got his 1st "play" shaving kit and was thrilled! He wanted to shave just like daddy:) Cam showed him how to put the kids shaving cream on and Colin knew exactly what to do after that.
He knows that the chin is tough to shave so he went really slow:)
Guess who was jealous and asked to shave her legs?? So now they share the play shaver and ask to shave EVERYTIME they take a shower. Cam and I will not be sad when we run out of the kids shaving cream:)

Jakes Birthday Party

Last weekend the kids had a swim birthday party for their friend Jake. It was at a health club in Wisconsin. This place was amazing! The kids went on a huge water slide. It was about 2 stories high! I was so proud of them for trying it! They went on it continuously for about an hour!
Kaitlyn waving to us from the stairs while she was waiting in line.

Happy Birthday Jake!!! Thanks for an awesome time!!!

Fun With Friends!

The kids have been busy playing with their friends. Cam and I joke that they have more of a social life than we do:) Last week Abby and her brother Bryce came for lunch and a playdate. The kids had so much fun playing! Bryce was all bundled up when he arrived:)
The kids were so busy playing!! It was nice to be able to sit and chit chat with Carrie while the kids played so we could catch up:)
Colin went to friends house so Kaitlyn invited her friend Coco over to play. It was a last minute playdate and worked out perfect! The girls had a blast doing crafts!! I was so busy helping them that I only took one pic:(
Saturday the kids had Hailey's birthday party at the bowling alley. They were super excited to go!! Some of the girlies from school...Kaitlyn, Coco, Madi, Madilyn, Nora and Kiara:)
I forgot my camera so these are cell phone pics.
Of course we had to get a group pic with Colin too:) He's quite the ladies man♥
Happy Birthday Hailey! Thanks for a great party!!!
Sunday we went to a Bears party at Heidi and Steves. The kids were excited to see all of the kids. Look at those great smiles....Colin, Tyler and Kaitlyn!
The kids played so well and we barely saw them the whole time we were there....Colin, Amanda, Tyler, Kaitlyn and Bella!
Dr. Kaitlyn LOVED Heidi's "play" glasses:)

Moose!

Zachary is 11 months old and eats like no other baby I have seen! Hence the nickname Moose! He is my Moosey Moose and loves snuggling with his Auntie Stacey which melts my heart♥ Last week he came over so we could watch him for the afternoon and we had so much fun playing! Here are some videos of him dancing and walking! He would dance like crazy but as soon as I took the camera out he got shy:) I could just eat him up!!

Misc Pics

The kids are having SO much fun playing with all of their new toys! In our house building things seems to be the kids favorite thing to do! We LOVE Lego's and Trios! Cam and I love to see the kids use their imaginations and are impressed with the things that Kaitlyn and Colin come up with when they are building!
There is nothing worse than stepping on a Lego!!! OUCH!
Colin loves his Trio Batcave from Auntie Kelly & Uncle Randy! We seem to have a Lego and Trio shrine everywhere I turn in our house. They biuld things and then never take them apart!!!
The kids love the challenge of reading the Lego directions! I opened this box of community worker Lego's and they built all of the people by themselves!
Did you know they make pink Legos? :) Kaitlyn loves her pink Legos!
Show and Tell at school! Kaitlyn and Kaylee wore their matching outfits:)
Kaitlyn loves doing Kaylee's hair in her salon chair from Grandma and Papa Willis!!
Best buddies in their braids:) Girls Playdate Day! The girls had so much fun Friday playing while Colin was at a friends house!!!

New Years Day Bowling

New Years day was filled with bowling and pizza! We went to Raymond's Bowl and then to Foxhole Pizza. Raymonds is so neat and has comfy couches, music and is fun place to bowl! Look at Cams bowling technique....he never puts his thumb in the ball! He basically palms the ball.
I was trying so hard to keep my ball out of the gutter:)
Lauren & Kaitlyn:)
The kiddos!
Dave showing Colin how to hold the ball.
The kids LOVED bowling and look forward to going back next weekend for their friend Hailey's birthday party!!!

Ringing in 2011!

We hosted the annual Neighbors New Year party this year. The kids were so excited to "stay up all night"! Rose and I:)
Remember the money tree post?? The next 2 pictures are of the guilty couples who thought of the idea:)
John and Rachel
Dave and Rose
The kids had a blast playing in the basement!
So thankful for another happy healthy year in the Willis house!!
We had a GREAT time and things got a little rowdy as usual:) After several rounds of spoons, cards and spoons seemed to be disappearing and reappearing! Rachel was trying to straighten out the game! I didn't take many pictures since we were having so much fun and I actually forgot. Isn't that a surprise:)
Happy 2011!
