More Water Park Fun!

We went back to Woodstock today to the water park. This time our Auntie KK and cousin Quintin came with along with Auntie Kristina, Madi and Makenna. They close this weekend so we had to sneak one more visit in even though we were just there a few days ago. Plus we are gearing up for our weekend at Auntie Jill and Uncle Craig's house and swimming in their new in ground pool!!!

Our Weekend!!

We had a busy but fun weekend! Saturday we had 2 parties to attend. One was a reception for mommy's good friend Alivia who was back celebrating her wedding in the Virgin Islands. The other was our friend Makenna's 1st Birthday Luau Bash. Then on Sunday we went to the water park with mommy and daddy's friends. Busy, Busy! A Fun Week!

We have had a fun week as usual! Tuesday night was our last gymnastics class. Believe it or not...mommy did not have her camera with so thanks Auntie Kristina for taking some pics for her! Wednesday we stayed at home and swam in our kiddie pool and Madi came over. Here we are enjoying the water!

We love Lego's!

We really enjoy our Lego table! Today we went to Woodfield Mall with Grandma Young and visited the Lego store. Here we are playing with our Lego city that mommy and daddy helped build for us. Colin was playing with his police station....just like he Uncle Randy he said. Kaitlyn was playing with her grocery store that scans groceries and makes noise. She was so funny and saying "Thank you, have a nice day" every time she would scan a food item. She must have picked that up from our weekly grocery trips:) You should have seen the Lego table after they were done playing....not one building was still standing:) Cam and I worked so hard to put their little city together and they destroyed it:) Guess thats an indication of how much fun they had!!

"Hide and Sleep"

As seen in previous posts most of you know that Colin loves to do somersaults and headstands in his room during nap time. Just this week we had to remove his wood guardrail on his toddler bed because during nap time he was climbing on top of it and jumping off. All I would hear during nap time was the huge thumps of him jumping off of his guardrail into the pile of blankets and his pillow on his floor. Today was a new one......I couldn't see him on the video monitor and it was quiet so I assumed he fell asleep on the floor. I peeked in his room and couldn't find him.....well here he was fast asleep UNDER his bed!

Weekend Fun!

We celebrated our Papa Young's 60th birthday on Saturday night. We think he looks pretty good for 60!!!! Here we are with him at dinner in Biaggi's Wine Room...our favorite place!! Papa and his 3 grandchildren. Look how focused Colin is on that cake:)

As part of Papas birthday gift we surprised him with getting a family picture taken on Sunday. All 10 of us went to Grandma and Papas house and had a photographer come to take an updated immediate family picture. The weather was beautiful and the trees and flowers at their house made a perfect backdrop! We will get the proofs in a week so lets hope after a 1 hour photo shoot she was able to get at least one picture with all 10 of us smiling. Here are K & C before we left this morning. We will post the professional ones once we receive them.

Outdoor Play-Doh Time

The kids wanted to play with Play-Doh after their naps today. I have officially decided that if it is nice outside that Play-Doh is an outdoor activity!! We changed into outdoor clothes, set up on the driveway and they went to work on making creations! In fact they had so much fun that they played outside from 5-7:30pm only taking a break for dinner:) Colin was using the press to make a tire for his car.
Kaitlyn was picking her color of Play-Doh to make hair for her Dora figurine. Dora needed red hair she said.

Big Kid Hoodies

Look how much we have grown!!!! Mommy hung pictures in our bathroom of us wearing our hoodie towels at 4 months old. Don't you think its time to update them?!? They were huge on us when we were babies but don't even wrap around us now since we are so big! Here are pictures of us at 4 months and now 2 1/2 years old in our new hoodies:)

Rainy Monday

Its a rainy Monday! We ran to the store to get a Hot Wheels mat to play with. Here we are driving our cars around and enjoying hanging out inside this morning:)

Family Visit

We were so excited that Uncle Chad, Auntie Jolene, Everett and baby Isaac came to visit us this weekend!! We did lots of fun things and cant wait for them to visit again! There were so many pictures so mommy had to choose only a few to share:) Here is Colin holding baby Isaac. Kaitlyn held him too. They also helped feed him!
We went to IKEA and Abt on Saturday. Who would have known that the Abt electronics store could have so much neat stuff in it?? Here are K, C & E in the store by the water fountain.

They even had a big bubble maker. Uncle Chad and Everett in a bubble.
This huge granite ball was floating in water and spinning around. It was neat to touch!
We saw lots of fish in the huge fish tank. Colin was checking out the real eel that used to be in the tank but now is just on display.
We swam in the pool Saturday afternoon. K & C were dumping all of their pool toys in the pool.

Baby Isaac was so good all weekend. He is only 4 weeks old!!! He was hanging out with us outside in the bouncer.
Sunday we went to the park. We put all 3 kids in the jogging stroller and off we went.

Dance Mania!

Kaitlyn and Colin were cracking us up yesterday with their dance moves! Of course by the time I thought to get out the camera they were not doing it anymore. Here are some video clips of them dancing away:)
