Swim Birthday Party

Sunday night we had a surprise birthday party at our local pool. The weather was questionable all day and down poured late afternoon....but then at 7pm when the party was getting started the sun was out in full force. Perfect timing! Here is Halle coming up to the pool realizing that this party was for her...Surprise!!!
Dave and Kaitlyn....he scooped her up and was teasing her that he was going to throw her in:)

Ready to swim like fishies!!

Some of the neighbor kids!

Since the local pool doesn't have a zero depth area its pretty deep. Cam and I were not swimming that night so the kids had to wear life jackets that the pool provides. Despite the cool temps these little fishies jumped right in and swam their little hearts out!

I was cold just looking at the kids in the water!!! Brrr!!

Of course the dads were camped out in the parking lot listening to the Hawks game:)
Halle opening her gifts:)

Enjoying some yummy cake!

Thanks Halle for a great time! We had so much fun!!

Misc. Pics

Last week was pretty busy for us. We were getting ready for our big subdivision garage sale. Here are some random pictures from the week. This first picture is for Kaitlyn and Colin's cousins Reid and Jay. Colin spotted this toad and thought Reid and Jay would have loved to capture it!! I tried to get close to it to take a picture but it kept hopping towards me and I was screaming:)
Our garage sale was Thurs-Sat. We sold a lot of stuff and made a lot of money which was great! Cam said whatever didnt sell was not allowed back in the house so we donated the leftovers. Here is only half of our garage.....the other half had hanging clothes too! Plus we had tons of tables full of more clothes and toys, books, misc stuff etc. Not all of it was mine though....Kel and I did it together.

The kids enjoyed picnic lunches outside all 3 days of the garage sale!

The kids discovered Perler Beads last week! All of the neighbor kids have them and my kids love to do what the "big kids" are doing:) We set up shop on their Lego table this week so they could create away!

They sat for hours on Monday and made creations. This is Colin's person/alien that he made.

Kaitlyn made pretty shape creations. The thing that stinks about these perler beads is 1. If they spill you have a huge mess and 2. You have to iron them to melt the beads together. But the kids love them so thats all that matters right? :)

Memorial Day Weekend BBQ

Saturday night we had a BBQ at the Harvey house. The kids had a blast playing outside in the sprinkler and the adults were able to sit and relax with good food and drinks!

Colin, Makenna, Kaitlyn, Zoe, Madi and Jake

Kaitlyn and Colin love that Ron, Jakes dad, plays with them all of the time. He is like a little kid:)

Ron was making water balloons...every time the kids came near him he sprayed them. They thought it was hilarious and kept coming back for more:)

Enjoying yummy fajitas!!

The kids were playing American Idol:) Thanks for a great time Harvey's!!!

Last Day of School Program

Last Thursday was the kids end of the year program at school. Poor Cam was very, very sick with the stomach flu and had to miss the program. We have the whole thing on video so he was able to see it thankfully! They did such a GREAT job and we were so proud of them!!! We just cant believe that they are done with their first year in preschool already!! Here are all of the kids before the program.
Thanks to my wonderful neighbors for coming and to Rose for videotaping for me. We all had jean jackets on....no we did NOT plan it!

Kaitlyn was SO excited to see Quintin and Zachary and kept waving and smiling at them:)

The kids were allowed to wear baseball hats since the last song was Take Me Out to the Ballgame if they wanted to. K & C didnt.

Last Day of School Program Video's

Here are a few video's from the kids program! They did such a great job! We were proud of Colin for doing such a great job participating with singing and the arm movements....he was so nervous during the Christmas program but obviously wasn't for this program:) Kaitlyn just loves to sing! Both kids did SO well on their end of the year assessments and we could not be more proud! In fact Kaitlyn is very proud of herself for getting a check plus plus for singing/music:)
