The holiday season is here! I LOVE the holidays! I LOVE that we get to spend time with our family, give to others in need, remember and be thankful for the past year and get excited for a new year ahead, celebrate traditions and enjoy the fond memories we have created! Our house is filled with decorations some new and some old. Its so much fun to tell stories to the kids about the history of some of our decorations. Here are a few that have special places in our hearts...
My mom sews and handmade my stocking when I was little. She also made stockings for the kids when they were born. Maybe someday if I ever learn to sew I can make one for Cam:)

This Santa was my Grandma and Poppy's. My mom passed it down to me and I love taking it out every year and it brings back a flood of memories of my grandparents who I miss so much! Its about 20 years old!
"Elfie" our Elf on a Shelf is a 2 year old tradition that my mom started. We LOVE when he comes to our house the day after Thanksgiving and how the kids behavior is ever so perfect when he is around...haha! :) He stays with us and hides in a new place every night. The kids love waking up and finding Elfie every morning!

My mother in law is a wonderful painter. She has painted so many special things for us! The kids have hand painted piggy banks and Cam and I have plates and platters as well as many ornaments. They are all beautiful and we love taking the ornaments out every year! This has to be one of my favorites...the candy cane Willis plate!

And who can forget that with the holidays comes shopping.....this is my shopping buddy:) Last weekend Kaitlyn got her purse and asked if she could shop with me...we had so much fun bopping around:)
