Coco's Birthday Party

Sunday was Coco's birthday party. She is in the kids class. It was a firetruck theme! The kids had so much fun! I took these off of Facebook since I forgot my camera:( Here is Kaitlyn spraying the birthday girl with water...busted!!!

Despite how hot it was outside the kids had a blast playing on the huge firetruck slide, riding firetrucks and spraying each other with play fire extinguishers:)

Pinocchio

Wednesday Grandma and Papa took the 3 big kids to see the play Pinocchio and out for lunch!! They were SO excited!!! Here they are with the 4 kiddos before they left. Someday Zachary will be old enough and they will have to take all 4:) We thought they were brave for taking 3 kids!! I have trained my mom well...she took a ton of pictures for me:)

They also bought the kids the DVD so we have the movie. Thanks for a very special day Grandma & Papa!! We love you!!

Makenna's Birthday Party

Last Saturday we had Makenna's 3rd birthday party at a farm. The kids had an absolute blast!! They loved riding the ponies!!

Go Cubs Go...Go Shop Go:)

My sister and I HAD to check out the back to school sales at the outlet mall! Plus with the no tax on school clothes and using coupons we saved a ton of money on back to school clothes! The kids still need a ton of stuff but it felt good to get a head start! We put the kids in their matching Cubs gear for our shopping trip! Yes, I was taking pics in the Gap dressing room while Kel was trying on clothes...people must think I am nuts:)

After shopping we went back to the car and we had a picnic in the car for lunch:) The kids thought it was so much fun!!

Summer Playdates

The kids have been having so much fun this summer! They have been very busy playing with their friends. Here are a few pics from different playdates that they recently had.

Puzzles Galore

Kaitlyn and Colin LOVE puzzles! We bought some 100 and 150 piece puzzles last week for the kids to do. Kaitlyn got a little frustrated with them and asked for help. Colin did 2 puzzles all by himself....we were amazed!!! The pieces were very small! He sat at the dinning room table and was determined to finish them before he went to bed and he did!

National Night Out

Last week we went to National Night Out in Grandma and Papa's town. We went last year and the kids really enjoyed it. The Flight For Life helicopter was supposed to land but unfortunately they were not able to. The kids were really looking forward to seeing the helicopter:( Grandma and her grandkiddies!

Maxx is Wauconda's police dog was there for the 2nd year. Daddy knows this dog very well since he comes to his school once a year for drug searches of lockers. Maxx is an AMAZING dog and trained so well! They had Maxx demo different things that he can do drug sniffing, search and rescue, etc. I was worried about Kaitlyn seeing the last demo of Maxx with a muzzle on and watching his full out attack another police officer who was playing a "bad guy". It was pretty scary!

This is literally 2 minutes after the demo was done she sat up on the squad car with Maxx. We were SHOCKED that Kaitlyn was so brave!!! As you all know K has a very extreme fear of dogs and animals so we were very proud of her!!

Colin sat with Maxx last year(K did not) so he was excited to sit with him again:)

When we got home that night we were having so much fun with the camera. It was the kids idea to take pics of them jumping and then they would come look at the pic and laugh so hard:) Here they are getting lots of air! They were so silly!!
