You Have Been "Peeped"!

We all know how much the neighbors on our street love to play jokes on each other:) A few of us decided to "Peep" our neighbors on Easter! We put 60 peeps on toothpicks and stuck them in the neighbors front lawn while they were gone. What a great laugh!!!
Then I made a sign and we hung in on their tree.
The thing that we didn't realize was at when we left to go my parents house the neighbors turned around and "Peeped" us:( So we came home to a yard full of peeps! It was all in good fun and created lots of laughs:)

Easter Egg Hunt

We were excited to go to the Harvey's First Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Thanks for all of the hard work you guys did to put this fun event together. Here are some of the kids ready to start the egg hunt! Kaitlyn finding some eggs!

March of Dimes Walk

Team name after Makenna: Mak-Ing a Difference 1 Step at a Time! There were 53 people walking honor of Makenna♥ As a team we raised $4000 and as a family the four of us raised $550. Thanks SO much to all of our family & friends who supported us by making a donation to our team! It is such a great cause!!

This sweet little girl was born 8 weeks premature. It was a very scary time for everyone! Seeing her and all of the other babies in the NICU was so sad! But she is a happy and healthy 3 year old girl now:)

On the way home we stopped at Costco and the Easter bunny was there. We had a great day! We were honored to walk for Makenna and help raise funds and awareness for premature babies! GO TEAM MAK!

Playroom Pics

My mom had the grandkids playroom painted last week. The lady who painted it did an amazing job!! These pictures do not do any justice for how neat the room turned out. The tree goes onto the angled ceiling and when you are standing under it you feel like you are under a real tree:) My mom had the lady incorporate the grandkids names in the paintings too. Kaitlyn's name looks like it is carved into the tree:)
Colin, Quintin and Zachary's names look like they are scratched into the playhouse:)

My mom has a huge closet dedicated to dress up stuff!! This is one of the kids favorite things to do when they are at my parents!

This was my moms idea. She wanted each grandkid to have their own "frame" that they could put their special artwork in. The lady painted 4 frames and the grandkids got to pick their

"symbol" that they wanted on their frame to represent themselves. Kaitlyn picked a bow, Colin picked a baseball, Quintin picked Batman and Zachary is our little moose so he has a moose:) The kids already gave grandma their artwork and its hanging up. I need to get a picture of how cute it looks. My mom put their artwork in clear frames and hung them in the painted frame area. It looks so super cute!! The kids love having their own space and a room to go play in!!! If anyone is interested getting more info about Leslie let me know and I can send you her info!

American Girl Fashion Show

Kaitlyn was SO excited to model in the American Girl Fashion Show! It was a fundraiser at a local church. American Girl provided all of the clothes and dolls for the girls to wear. The audeience had an adorable breakfast just like being at the American Girl cafe:) The best part was Kaitlyn got to walk down the catwalk with her best friend Madi who was in matching clothes too! Here they are waiting to model wearing the new 2011 American Girl clothing line:) They were being so silly dancing and posing:) Little did I know the excitement would soon change to nervousness for Kaitlyn!!

Poor Kaitlyn was beyond excited but for some reason when she stepped on the catwalk you could tell she was so nervous:( I think seeing all of the people in the audience made her nervous which is not usually Kaitlyn's demeanor!

The girls did great and I was very proud of them!! Kaitlyn was so happy to have her friends Madilyn and Hailey there to see her and Madi model!
