NASCAR Race/Parents 40th Anniversary

I am SO behind in blogging so I have lots of catching up to do! Summer has just been so busy that I am getting behind. On June 26th we celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary! Cam and I feel so lucky that both of our parents are such amazing role models and have wonderful marriages! We also went to the Speedway Racetrack to watch my dad and my uncle race NASCARS! It was their fathers day gift. What a FUN day!! Here are Kaitlyn and Colin hanging out with Nicole and Danielle! We were able to bring food and drinks while we watched the races. The best part was we were all in the pit so we were right on the track which was really neat! But loud:) Cam and Randy thought that racing at 150 mph sounds like so much fun that they want to do it next year for Fathers Day. Problem is my mom found a groupon for it so they regular price is over $500 so Kel and I are on the hunt for a groupon:) Dad and Uncle Jim all suited up and just completed their racing class!
Aunt Shari and Uncle Jim!
Papa and his grand kiddies!

Think it was loud?? :)

Zachary was a little hungry and was raiding the food!

Uncle Jim ready to race!

My dad ready to race!

And their off!!! My dad and Uncle Jim were the first 2 cars getting on the track from the pit. I have videos below too!

Coming back in after a fun race!

Thumbs Up!

Aunt Shari, Cam and Randy enjoying the race!

Zachary loved the cars and kept pointing at the track:)

Nicole was so excited that she got to drive my uncles new corvette! Now my Uncle and my dad have matching Batmobiles as the kids call them:)

We all went to the Ram as a surprise to celebrate 40 wonderful years of marriage for my parents!

Mom and Dad- you are such an inspiration and we love you!!

A few videos of the guys on the track! This first one was at the start of the race.

This second video is when the "pace" car came off the track and they were able to open the cars up. They were able to go 150mph!! It doesnt look like they are going that fast but they were flying!
