Arlington Racetrack

July 3rd we spent at Arlington Racetrack. Thanks to Kristina's mom for getting us box seats! We had a blast and plan to sit in the box seats every year! The fireworks are absolutely amazing too!! Here are the 3 girlies in their matching outfits!

Showing her winnings! Kaitlyn chose horse #2 all on her own and that horse won. She was so excited! I told her that the $4 she won would buy her dinner since hot dogs were $4:)

We had a great day at Arlington!!! Spending it with the Harveys was so memorable!!! We look forward to this annual tradition on July 3rd!!

Summerfest & Lake Geneva

Last Friday we went to Summerfest in Milwaukee after the kids got out of VBS at noon. We had SO much fun!!! Here are some pics from our fun filled day that started in Milwaukee and ended in Lake Geneva! The 4 kiddos looking like movie stars!

Look at this stroller we rented!! How funny is it?!?! But it kept the kids contained and safe in the massive crowds so worth the $7:)


This is Cams "seriously" pose! Kristina and I were at the ticket booth trying to see if we could buy Lee DeWyze tickets for his performance that night at Summerfest!! They were too expensive and we had the kids with us but most of all the guys weren't going to go for it either. Bummer!!

Misc. July Pics

Here are some random pictures from July. We are having a great summer so far....cant believe its already July!! One of my blog reading friends said to me that she would love to have been my child since we do so many fun things! We are an on the go have fun family I guess:)

Kaitlyn was showing off her adorable cherry bathing suit and skirt that Grandma put in her Easter basket. We babysat Quintin and Zachary last Wednesday at our house. Zachary was looking at Cam thinking....do I really have to take a nap Uncle Cam?!?!

After a day of no naps and swimming Kaitlyn fell sleep at 5:40pm after her shower. We carried her to the dinner table and tried to wake her up. She was sooo tired!!!

Grandma Young bought the kids Cubs jerseys and had the backs embroidered. #55 was Cams high school number so we used that. They say K. Willis and C. Willis!

One day we spent the afternoon at the pool. Colin was swimming with Micheal!

Daddy is so much fun....he made this huge tent/fort for the kids to play in while I was out running! I came home and he had transformed the whole family room!!

Colin has been fascinated with pyramids. So Cam decided to surprise him and build one while the kids were sleeping. He spent SO much time putting this together!

But the surprise was on daddy! Kaitlyn was so sad when she woke up and saw that daddy took her lego grocery store apart. So poor daddy had to take apart half of the pyramid and reset up Kaitlyn's store. He's such a good daddy!!!

Milwaukee Zoo

Cam took off today last minute so we could go to the Milwaukee Zoo. It was PERFECT weather so we couldn't pass this fun family day up!! Here is Colin all ready to go!! He asked me to take a pic of his sunglasses. Then he asked me to take a pic of his books he was bringing in the car with him...not sure why but I am happy my kids love posing for the camera:) Kaitlyn sporting her kids Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses! Doesnt every girl need a pair:)

We were lucky enough to have first row for the penguin feeding. The trainer was so nice! Colin was even picked to ask a question in front of everyone about the penguins caves:)

We went thru the dinosaur exhibit. K & C kept saying how their cousins Reid and Jay would love to see these huge dinosaurs!! They looked and sounded so real!!

Both kids were excited about the polar bears!!

Colin was so brave and went in the petting zoo to pet the goats. He thought they were so funny!!

I love that the kids always hold hands without being told....they are just too cute!!

After a lot of walking and a TON of fun this is all Cam and I could see hanging out of the jogging stroller at the end of the day while we were pushing the kids to the car:) Cute and very tired little toes!!! What a great day!!!
