500 Blog Posts

WOW- 500 POSTS! It's so hard to believe that when I started this blog (1/26/08) I would ever reach 500 posts and here I am at number 501!!! I absolutely LOVE blogging! And I LOVE even more when you all comment to me about things I have on the blog! I really do work hard to keep our family and friends (near & far) informed with what we are up to but also for Kaitlyn and Colin to have a digital baby book! My hope is that all of my blog readers continue to check in and check in often since I try to update several times a week. What I am very excited about is I will have my blog turned into a book (by a company who does this for bloggers) so that K & C can look back on all of the memories we have created! So keep reading and I will keep blogging:)

Blue Lightning Soccer Team

Kaitlyn and Colin started soccer last week. Tuesday nights they have a 30 min practice followed by a 30 minute game. They are the Blue Lightning team! Here are some pics from their first practice/game! They did great and absolutely LOVE playing soccer! It helps that their Uncle Brandon is their coach:)

Colin chose number 4 since he is 4 yrs old. Kaitlyn chose number 5 since she will be 5 yrs old. They play 6 games in the fall so Colin's number will work for the fall since he is still 4 yrs old. Then they play 6 games in the spring so Kaitlyn's will be perfect since she will be 5 yrs old by then:) I liked their reasoning!

Kaitlyn, Madi and Colin! So many kids from their class play soccer and they wished they could have everyone on their team but they only have 8 kids on a team. How fun would that have been?!?! The Little Angels Team:)

Disney on Ice Date with Mommy

Kaitlyn and I went on a date to Disney on Ice-Princess'! My mom went too. We had SO much fun and Kaitlyn loved dressing up as a beautiful princess....so much that we decided she should be Cinderella for Halloween. I could just eat her up she looked so cute!!

Gofling Date with Daddy

Last Sunday Cam and Colin went on a date! Cam surprised Colin and took him to the golf course to play his first 9 hole game! Colin thought they were going to the golf range so he was SO surprised when Cam told him what they were really doing! Here they are before he left. Colin played all 9 holes! He said his hand hurt afterwards and that he thinks he needs a golf glove like daddy:) They had a great day and went out for dinner and ice cream afterwards!

Grandparents Day at School

Saturday was Grandparents Day at the kids school. Parents do not attend since its a special day for the kids and their grandparents! Kaitlyn and Colin are SO fortunate that they have had both sets of grandparents there for 2 years in a row. Thanks to my in laws for traveling to come to this event at school!! They had so much fun spending the morning with their 4 grandparents and having a picnic lunch! We were sad it was raining so the picnic had to be moved indoors but they still had a great time!!! Thanks to my mom and mother in law for taking a ton of pics for us to see!! Kaitlyn and Colin love you all SO much!!
