Super Heroes!

How cute are they?!?! Auntie Kelly bought Kaitlyn a Batgirl costume to keep at her house for when we are there babysitting. We barely get through the door and my kids transform into Super Heroes!

The Colinator!

Now if this doesn't make you smile I dont know what would! I came across this picture of Colin and just couldn't stop smiling at how cute he is! We have SO many memories of him and the silly things he did when he was 2 years old:) I found him naked down to his diaper and in his cowboy boots and hat signing into his microphone! I just had to share!!

This was another pic I found:) Colin received this Power Ranger costume from my aunt and uncle for Christmas when he was 2 years old. Look how big it was on him! He has definitely gotten lots of use out of it!
He was 2 years old in this picture and is almost 5 years old now and still wearing it!

Fun Friday!!

Kaitlyn and Colin's teacher asked me to come in and help with a project on Friday. I was SO excited to go in and see the kids and how they interact at school. It was so much fun and I look forward to going back after the holidays and helping with computers! I had to trace the kids bodies. Here are the kids working on their bodies in the hallway. Kaitlyn started her bangs but didn't finish...love how she thinks of these things! As I am typing this post the kids are down in the kitchen finishing their body project:) LOVE the spiked hair Colin!! Too cute!

Friday night we went out for dinner and to see the musical/play Cinderella at Fremd High School. Thanks Kristina for finding out about this and getting the tickets!! It was pretty impressive for a high school play!!

Silly Faces:)

2 videos from the play. The first one is when they are at the royal ball and Cinderella meets the prince for the first time! The h.s. orchestra did all of the music and the singing was amazing!
The Royal Ball video!
After the play we were able to go on stage and meet Cinderella and the prince. Colin was not as excited about it as Kaitlyn so him and daddy went to get the car:)
Do you think Colin had fun and was exhausted?!?! About 5 min later Colin woke up and we all started singing like Cinderella and the prince. We had a FUN car ride home and laughed pretty hard! The kids were so silly and they were signing very loud!!!

Halloween 2010!

The kids were excited to dress up for Halloween this year! They actually "shopped" in Grandma Young's dress up closet so we didnt have to go out and buy costumes. (I will confess that I did order costumes really early in the month and sure enough they didnt fit and were very cheaply made so we returned them). Kaitlyn was Cinderella and Colin was a red Power Ranger. You might notice in the next post that he is a Transformer. He switched between 2 costumes this year...and wouldn't wear the masks that went along with the costumes.

Lauren and the kids. She is so sweet and always loves to be a mommy's helper!!

Not all of the kids were here but we took what we could get for a group picture:)

Both Kaitlyn Marie's:)

This house is super scary! These are the things I do NOT like about Halloween!
They make the kids go thru the haunted cemetery to get to the front door to get candy. Some of the people are real and some are statues but you cant tell until they start following you. Our family did NOT go up to this house and decided to skip!! Both of these mosters were real!!

We visited our friend Morgans house while we were trick or treating:)
I borrowed my moms cute headband to wear:)

Rose made these monster fingers with Tastefully Simple pound cake...they were yummy!!

After party at our house....BONFIRE time!!
Getting chilly!!!
The kids came in for pizza because it was getting too cold. We had a fun time and enjoy our annual trick or treating and after party with the neighbors!!

Annual Harvey Halloween Party

Last Saturday was the Harveys Annual Halloween Party! We always have SO much fun and love that Kristina loves to entertain:) We always do a stairs pic but the sun was so bright we have to move locations!

Much better!!

We attempted to have the kids rotate thru stations. They all started by coloring! Boys table:)
Girls table:)

Here's the game I brought. I probably should have thought about the mess beforehand...oops! Candy Corn Race Game:) Colin and Jake racing to empty their bowls.

Kaitlyn played too!

Awww...Madi & Colin

Colin and Jake!

Kaitlyn and Morgan:)

After doing the activities and eating dinner the kids passed out their treat bags!
Looks like my game was pretty messy by the end of the night!! The kids loved it though so isn't that what really matters:)
Kaitlyn and Hailey enjoying a yummy treat:)
After everyone left the kids still had energy so Colin was making a Madi sandwich:)
The 2 most beautiful Cinderellas! How is it that between their school party and this party that we didn't get one picture of Kaitlyn and Madi all dressed up in their tiara's?!?! The kids had a GREAT time! Thanks to the Harvey's for all of their work they did to put together this party!!!
