Dentist Visit

Happy St Patty's Day Everyone!! Of course we picked out green shirts to wear today! We went to see our Uncle (Dr.) Jim to get our teeth cleaned! We've had dental exams before but today was our first official teeth cleaning appointment. Mommy had her teeth cleaned too. We did SO well and mommy said she is so proud of us for not being afraid!! Here we are getting ready to leave for our appointment. All smiles:) Kaitlyn sitting in the big chair ready to go for a ride and get her teeth cleaned! Kaitlyn was too cute and said we should "hang this one on the blog." I was surprised that Kaitlyn said she wanted to go first.

The hygienist Jenny cleaned out teeth. She was so nice and explained everything to us. We both choose orange flavor for our cleaning.

Uncle Jim came in and checked everything out after our cleaning. We both have 20 teeth each and everything looked good. No cavities!!

Colin was too busy watching the tv on the wall to smile for the camera:) He did so well!

He was so excited that Jenny let him pick out a Cars toothbrush!!

Thanks for taking such good care of us Uncle Jim! Also, thanks to Aunt Shari who let us go through the toy bin and pick something out because we were good patients! We had one little incident in the car on the way home though. They had little bags filled with all of their goodies from the dentist. I looked back at them while I was driving and they both had tore off the foil on their mini toothpaste tubes and were EATING the toothpaste.....I mean alot of toothpaste!! I freaked out and called my Uncle to see what to do. So far so good and neither one has thrown up. Only my little stinkers would think to do such a thing.

Colin's exact response was, "but mom I was hungry!" Here they are with their new toothbrushes!

Beautiful Saturday Morning!

What a beautiful day! We decided to enjoy the day outside! The kids rode their bikes.....we found out that their heads grew so much that they need larger helmets! Mommy and Kaitlyn ran some errands and Daddy asked us to pick up a Nerf football. Daddy played a serious game of Nerf (tackle) football with the kids:)

The kids were able to pedal so much better than last summer!

They rose their bikes around all morning!

Mommy decided to watch, snap pictures and get a good laugh out of their football game! Daddy was trying hard to catch Colin but hes too fast for his daddy!

Oh No! Daddy caught Colin so he passed the ball to Kaitlyn. Good catch! They had so much fun and look forward to a rematch tomorrow!

Here are some pics from the last few days. Daddy was hanging Kaitlyn upside down on over the chair. She laughs every time she sees this picture of her upside down:)

This video is too funny! Colin was playing catch with Cam...his new favorite thing to do!! Then Cam threw the ball and it bounced off of Colin's forehead. Colin thought that was much more fun than playing catch. He kept telling Cam to throw it and he closed his eyes. We were all laughing. I grabbed the camera to tape it. Cam then bounced the ball off of Colin's head and it went in the basket. Bet he couldn't do that again if he tried:)

Monday we went with our friends Stacy and Morgan to their health club to swim. We were excited that they invited us and the kids had a blast playing in the pool! Here are Kaitlyn, Morgan and Colin lounging on their bellies in the water.

The pool was nice and warm!

There are a few indoor pools but the kids stayed in the kiddie one. Kaitlyn and Colin were soaking themselves by pulling the string and making the water come down on them.

Beautiful Day!

Today mommy was feeling so much better so we decided to enjoy the beautiful day outside! Mommy said we could skip our naps and head outside. We played with dried corn from Papa Willis' farm. We love playing with our animals in the corn!

We were so excited that our Auntie Kelly and Quintin came over. Colin was pulling Q away from Kaitlyn because they were supposed to be smiling for the camera not kissing:)

We went to the park too. Auntie Kelly was pushing Colin on the swing!

Really Bored!

3 days stuck in the house is sure to make anyone get bored and go crazy. The kids have been SO good though! Yesterday Cam went back to work and I was solo with 2 kids and I was still getting over the flu. I was so proud of Kaitlyn and Colin! They let me rest and were so well behaved! Cam came home and surprised them with milkshakes for their awesome behavior:) Today they are still acting well but seem to be getting a little stir crazy! They were doing stickers this morning and Colin came up to me on the couch and roared at me with this sticker sheet on his face. I have no idea what possessed him to do that but it made me laugh so hard and kind of scared me as I was laying down with my eyes closed. I had to get the camera then to document his silliness:)

They were playing their guitars in the family room and it was so loud that I asked them to practice their band in the front room. They did and then called me in to see their show. I knew it would be good so I brought the camera to video tape it. They are my true rock stars as you can see:) Hope it gives you a good laugh! This shout out is to their best buddy Madi....Kaitlyn wanted you to see this! Enjoy!

Willis Cousins Visit

Last weekend we had the Willis Aunts, Uncles and cousins here for a visit. We had so much fun!! It was great to see them and for all of the cousins to play! They all get along so well! Wished we all lived closer to eachother! Here is a pic of the Willis cousins. Notice Kaitlyn is the only girl.....in fact she is on both sides of the family. We went to Bounces R Us on Saturday morning. The kids had a blast! It was packed though. Here are Jay and Colin racing down the slide.

There was a lot of Wii games going on over the weekend too. Daddy gave us all a good laugh showing everyone the Wii Fit. We laughed so hard at him doing the hulla hoop game:)

We had a great weekend! The end of the weekend didn't go as expected. Out of 12 people here half of us got the flu late Sunday night. It was not fun!! In our family mommy was the only one who got it. She is feeling much better now thankfully as well as the rest of the Willis family who got it!!
