Coloring Easter Eggs

Last night we colored our Easter eggs. We asked the Easter Bunny to come a week early since we will be out of town for Easter so he is coming tomorrow morning. The kids are very excited! Here are some pictures of them coloring their eggs. They were amazed that you put a white egg in some colored water and it changed colors:)
Surprisingly we had no spills!

Colin's turn!
Now Kaitlyn's turn!
Look at how pretty they turned out!
Can you find the 3 plastic ones that we used as fillers.....we broke a few:)
They loved coloring eggs so much that we washed the containers out and the pretended to dye more eggs with their fake plastic eggs from their kitchen after we were done. Kaitlyn was quite proud that she could balance an egg on a spoon!

Riding Our New Bikes

Yesterday was so nice out that we decided to get Kaitlyn and Colin's new bikes that Santa brought them and bring them out on the patio. Since we dont have our patio furniture out yet it was a great practice area for them. Unfortunately our driveway is not level and they really cant ride their bikes on there. They did pretty well with the pedaling concept but need to continue practicing. Mommy was really nervous that they did not have helmets on so
we need to purchase some soon!

Easter Bunny Attempt

We went to the mall today to attempt to sit on the Easter Bunnies lap....notice I say attempt:) And I should have learned my lesson by now about dressing better when I go to see Santa or the Easter bunny because either Cam or I seem to end up in the picture and I wasn't prepared today in my lovely warm ups:)
Here is Kaitlyn very excited as we entered the mall and hugging Madi....don't you love the matching outfits!

Yippee, we are all going to see the Easter Bunny!!!
Here is where Kaitlyn is starting to think this is not such a good idea.......
She holds on really tight to Colin's hand!!!!!
DON'T let go of me Colin she is thinking....I see the Easter Bunny!!!
Waiting in line with Auntie Kristina, baby Makenna and the 3 Amigos.
Kaitlyn was starting to scream at this point:)
This was our 2nd attempt (we came back after lunch) since K & C were both too afraid to go near the bunny. Colin did really well!!! He wasnt strangling him in this picture.....the bunny was turning Colins head for the picture since Colin just kept looking at him and was so intrigued that we couldn't get him to look away from him to smile for a picture:)
Here is Kaitlyn's debut with the bunny:) She is holding on to me SO tightly!!
FINALLY....some lunch! Waiting for our McDonald's!

Jump, jump, jump!!!!

More jumping!
And even more jumping!

Shopping for Flower Girl Dresses

Kaitlyn and Colin are both standing up in Cams cousin Amy's wedding in September. Kaitlyn is the flower girl and Colin is the ring bearer. This weekend when Grandma and Papa Willis were in town Grandma, Kaitlyn and mommy met Amy and Aunt Donna at some bridal shops to look for flower girl dresses. Kaitlyn felt like quite the princess for the day!!!! She was such a ham and LOVED trying on dresses!!! We think we might have found a dress for the wedding. Here is Kaitlyn in her clothes checking herself out in front of the mirror....she has no fear of mirrors:) This might be the dress! We would order it in ivory and the sash/bow would be in chocolate brown to match the bridesmaids dresses. Amy was helping her adjust the sash.
Same dress without the chocolate brown sash.
Checking out how the dress will work on the dance floor for spinning:)
Another pretty dress she tried on.
She looked like a mini bride in this dress!
She had to check out the back of her dress too!

Grandma & Papa Willis' Visit

Grandma and Papa Willis came to visit us this weekend and we were so excited to have them come!!! They brought us really neat books and these cute chirping chicks. We had so much fun when they were here and we are sure that they are worn out from all of the playing that we did:) Here we are coloring with them. They were showing us how to draw tractors! Grandma was reading me my new book called Guess Who Farm Friends?

I liked when Papa read me one of my new books too while I ate a snack!
Papa was being so silly and trying to catch us and not let us get away.
We were having so much fun!!
Smile:)
Papa and Colin were doing puzzles together one morning.
The adults were watching TV so we were watching a DVD and hiding out under our Lego table.

Kaitlyn Pics

This picture might be one of my favorites of Kaitlyn! She was sitting by the front door and I just snapped it and the best part is that it was not posed.
I put it in B & W too just for fun!
You all know that I love taking pictures and thats why I am having SO much fun with this blog:)

Dont let the innocent face fool you.....she had just finished her 2 minutes in the Time Out Chair. It probably wasnt such a good idea to not listen to your Mommy was it Kaitlyn???

Here is Kaitlyn being a good cousin and helping Quintin with his bottle.

The Colinator!

Colin has been running from me when he sees the camera lately....maybe I should take the hint that he isnt interested in having his picture taken:) These were the only pics I could get of him....This first one was of him hiding under the dining room table and laughing when I pretended that I had lost him and was calling out his name...stinker! The other ones were too funny not to post. He was boycotting taking a nap on Saturday and he must have tried to take his shirt off because his one arm was sticking out of the neck of his shirt....dont ask me why! After being awake in his room and talking for over an hour he zonked out and fell asleep sitting up and then must have slumped over. He was so tired that I walked right in and took a picture and he did not even wake up. He moved after awhile into a much more comfortable looking position. Our little stinker always manages to keep us smiling:)

Gap Kids

Many of you know I used to be the matching/coordinating outfit Queen! Its getting so hard as Kaitlyn and Colin get older. When I put these Gap shirts on them this morning they were giggling and thought it was SO funny that they had the same shirts on:)
Half Smiles:)
Hugs!
