Waiting for Baby Zachary to Arrive

Wednesday was Kel & Randys big day! We waited at home all morning til we got the call that Kel was pushing and it was time to head to the hospital. We got the call around 1:45pm that she started pushing and we rushed off. Here are the kids with their gifts for the new baby and Quintin.
Big Brother Quintin!

Kaitlyn, Colin and Quintin waiting and waiting for Uncle Randy to come out and announce Zachary's arrival!

The kids were so well behaved and we were proud of them! They managed to keep busy and play while we waited for a few hours.

Grandma & Kaitlyn playing electronic solitaire.
Grandma, Papa and Daddy in the waiting area.

A very sweet nurse came out and gave the 3 kids each a baby hat and newborn diaper so they could get an idea of how small the baby would be.

Here comes Randy with the video camera to announce that Zachary has arrived!!

Proud Mommy!!! Who looks this good after going through a grueling labor and delivery:)

Sisters:)

The staff was so sweet!! Since K & C were not siblings they were not allowed to go back. So the nurses wheeled baby Zachary to the doors and held him up for the kids to see him. And then they brought Auntie Kelly by so they could blow her kisses:)

Make Your Own Pizza Night!

Friday night we had a nice family night at home! The kids wanted to do make your own pizzas for dinner. They are so easy! Here they are topping their english muffins with sauce!

Adding the cheese. Kaitlyn was hungry so she was helping Colin so we could get them in the oven.
Yummy!!!

Kellys Birthday & Pre-Induction Night:)

Tonight we went over to Auntie Kelly & Uncle Randy's house to celebrate Auntie Kelly's birthday! AND that she will be having a baby tomorrow...yippee! We have been waiting for what seems like forever for this little guy to arrive. All we want is one little healthy boy!! I am a soon to be proud aunt of SIX nephews!!
Here are K & C getting one last look at Auntie Kelly's belly:)
Kisses to the baby from Colin:)

And Kaitlyn too:)

We were all surprised when Papa came thru the door! He flew home from his business trip and had the limo take him straight to Kelly & Randy's house. Surprise!! The grandkids were jumping around and screaming they were so excited to see Papa!
Big hugs for Papa!!

Happy Birthday Kel! We love you! We pray for a quick, easy and painless delivery for you! And nothing but a healthy, beautiful baby boy! Quintin is going to be the best big brother!! Most of all we will FINALLY be able to learn the new babys name which has been kept a secret, thats miracle in itself, for the last 9 months!!
Stay tuned for new pics tomorrow of my new nephew:)

Hats!

Kaitlyn and Colin love wearing baseball hats! Colin asked to wear his Cubs jersey to school. I am finding out that the kids really want to have a say so in what they wear to school. I am trying to let go a little and let them choose....although Colin would wear his Batman shirt everyday if I let him:) He just wore it last week to school and asked to wear it again this morning...thats where I draw the line:) When he got home from school he put on his Cubs hat. He wanted to wear his hat to school too. I said that its Ms. Maureen's rule that they can not wear hats to school. How come when I say no they argue but when Ms. Maureen says its a rule they listen:)
*Cam just called and said he saw this post and Colin has good timing...the Cubs pitchers report to spring training tomorrow! Go Cubbies!!*
So then Kaitlyn wanted to put on her pink Illini hat:)

Waving to the neighbors who were walking their dog:)

We Love Mommy & Daddy:)

Here are some fun Valentine pictures that we took:) I went back and found the kids in their
"I Love Mom" shirts from 2 years ago. They are growing so fast!! I love doing comparison pictures to see how much they have changed over the years!!
Here they are now! 4 years old and we found shirts that said I Love Mommy & I Love Daddy. They have been switching off who wears which shirt to be fair.
Its sweet that they don't choose sides and love Cam and I equally:)

I love playing around on www.picnik.com. You can do SO much on this site and its free.
Here are a few collage pics of the kids:)

Valentine's Weekend

The kids were so excited to get a Valentine package from Grandma & Papa Willis this weekend!! Thanks Grandma and Papa for our new movies and stickers! We love them!! We miss you SO much and cant wait for your visit in a few weeks!!! We love when you come to visit us and have a sleepover:)

We also made a family trip to the grocery store one morning. Kaitlyn brought Kaylee in her baby car seat. She loves pretending to be a mommy:) We were ready to walk out the door and she was rushing around getting Kaylee in her jacket and scarf. Thanks Auntie Jill for the winter coat for Kaylee! We wouldn't want her to freeze in this weather:)
Yes, I always have a camera with me....even in the grocery store which embarrasses Cam:) Now that I have an SLR camera I don't bring it everywhere with me...so I always have my little point and shoot camera in my purse for emergency photo opportunities:)
Sunday night we went on a family date night for Valentine's Day.

The kids have been asking to go look at puppies. No we were not buying a dog but decided it would be fun to just look. We just loved the little dog on the left. He was so cute!!

The kids loved this little puppy!

I can see how people walk in and end up walking out with a puppy:) We did not cave though! This little puppy just loved Colin and was so playful with him!!

We headed over to Fridays for dinner. Mommy & Kaitlyn:)

Daddy and Colin:)

This was too funny. On the way home Cam gave me a quick kiss on the cheek at a stoplight. Well Kaitlyn and Colin decided to reach over and try and give each other a kiss:) We enjoyed a nice weekend as a family!!

Sleepover at Grandma & Papa's House

Friday night the kids slept at my parents house. Thanks mom & dad for taking them so Cam and I could have a night out with friends!! Grandma had a fun night planned! I was quite impressed that she sent me over 100 pictures from their night...way to go mom..I trained you well:) They made cupcakes and cookies. Grandma keeps aprons, special rolling pins and spoons at her house for the grandkids for when they cook.

Grandma said that she went through a ton of spoons that night...every time she looked over Colin was licking his spoon and she would have to get a new one:)
Looks like Kaitlyn did more than licking her spoon....looks like she stuck her face in the bowl:)

Waiting for their cupcakes to cook!!

Having a dance party!!

Time to frost!!

Papa even helped us cook and decorate our treats too!

Time to roll out the pink dough for cookies!

Time to frost and decorate their cookies!

The kids made cookies that looked like mommy & daddy too. They thought they were silly giving mommy a frown. Thanks kids! :) Daddy even has a side spike! :)

Then the kids got to open their Valentine gifts. Thanks Grandma & Papa for the adorable Gymboree clothes!!

Grandma's special treat for the kids is always chocolate kisses! They each got a box of Hershey's kisses:)
