Harms Farm

Last Thursday I was invited to attend the kids field trip to Harms Farm. I was SO excited that their teacher asked me to help out! Being a teacher I have to say I was impressed with how well their class of 3 year olds behaved and how smoothly the trip went!! Miss Maureen is wonderful and is so amazing with the kids!! Kaitlyn and Madi were super excited to be on their first school field trip!! They were checking out the animals!
Colin liked the little calf!!!

The kids went on a pumpkin train ride through the woods and to a small pumpkin patch to pick out their perfect pumpkin!!!

Colin choose the smallest pumpkin.....

Kaitlyn choose the largest pumpkin in the patch. Cracks us up how different they are in that way.

Kaitlyn & Madi showing off their pumpkins:)

Colin and his new friend Reese:)

We spent some time in one of their green houses that was decorated really cute for Halloween. The kids had snack, did a craft and heard a great story from Miss. Maureen. It was great to meet all of the kids in their class and see how well K & C interact with their new friends!!

Colin making his pumpkin!

Doing the pumpkin polka:)
Kaitlyn loved the bubble machine!!!
Climbing like a monkey up the hay stacks!

Class Picture!! Miss Maureen and Miss Debbie are the best!!!

Stade Farm

Last weekend we went to Stade Farm with our neighbors. I have to say before I go on that I didn't have any long sleeve t-shirts so the kids had to wear long sleeve Polo's under their Bears jerseys:) Cam said it looked goofy so I had to state my point why they had collared shirts under their jerseys before I went on:) Arriving at Stade farm!
Lauren is always SO helpful with the kids....thanks Lauren!!!

Attempting a family pic on one of the tractors:)

Kaitlyn & Colin were running through the hay maze!

Cheese!!!

Group shot in front of the pumpkin car!

Another family pic:)
This was all of the kids favorite part.....it was like a sand box but it was full of corn!!!

Such cutie pies:)

This pic was my favorite!! We laugh every time we see it.....Kaitlyn was completely buried in the corn but only her face was showing:)

Yeah for corn!!!

Being silly!

Rolling around in the corn. The kids said they were going to ask Papa Willis, who lives on a farm, if he would build one of these corn play areas for them:)

We went out for pizza after the farm and had a great time!!! We look forward to going back in 2 weeks with the Young family to pick pumpkins. Hoping for good weather when we go back!!

More Catch Up Pics

I forgot to add these pics from a few weeks ago. Kaitlyn, Colin and I really enjoy going over to my sisters twice a week to babysit Quintin!!! Here are some pics from them enjoying one of the last few warm days of the season!
Kaitlyn & Colin love Q's swing set!!

My monkey!!

Kisses for Q:)

Then we went in and made play doh creations!! It was a fun day!!

A few weeks back I had a Tastefully Simple party. Since Kristina is my TS consultant she was at my house for the party too. We left the guys and kids at the Harvey house for the night. What good sports they were....they even helped the kids do make your own pizzas! Aren't they great daddy's? :)

Making pizzas!

Looks yummy!!!

Last week we attended a wake and funeral for a dear friend Heidi whose dad passed away. It was a difficult week and we wanted to be there to support Heidi and Steve in any way we could. They have a 2 year old and at the time a 2 week old infant so it was a very stressful time for them! I went to watch the kids for Heidi and Steve so they could go to the wake a little early but needed someone to take my kids. Thanks SO much to Rose and Kristina for offering to take my kids for us!! Cam and I truly appreciated it!!! Rose sat at our house while the kids napped and then took them to her house and made brownies with them:) Here are some pics from her.

Then Kristina picked them up and fed them dinner and kept them til we arrived after the wake. I think this picture is from that night at Kristina's..not sure since I am so behind and have so many pictures to post:)
Thanks to both of you for all of your help! You two are the best!!!

Catching Up!

I know, I know...its been a long time since I have updated the blog. I have so many posts and promise to catch up soon:) Here are some pics from over the last few weeks. The 4 amigos playing dress up....Thanks to Madi and Makenna's grandma for buying the girls these adorable Hello Kitty leotards!!! Kaitlyn loves hers and would wear it everywhere we went if I let her! Colin was in his power ranger costume. He is such a good sport playing dress up with the girls. They are always the princess' and he's always the handsome prince:)
Kaitlyn started dance last month. Its an 8 month long commitment every Monday night. They have a dance recital with costumes in April. We cant wait!! She takes dance and tap. She loves that her friends Madi and Morgan are in her class. Here's all three girls during class....Morgan, Madi and Kaitlyn is on the right.

Kaitlyn is 2nd from the left.

A few weeks ago on a Sunday we went to see our neighbors play football and cheer. Its a Sunday so of course we had our Bears jerseys on:)
Too bad they are from last year and #54 is on the injured list:(

Aren't these the cutest 2 sets of twins you have ever seen?? :)

Kaitlyn and Colin were cheering Lauren and Michael on.

Go Lauren!!!

Go Micheal!! #52!!!

Sharing a little popcorn with Katie, Maddie and Halle and enjoying the game!!

Our Gap kids!!

Since Kaitlyn is officially a dancer we thought she needed a dance bag. Here she is ready to go to dance with her dance bag.

This was too funny. One night after dance class when we got home the kids switched shoes. I looked down at the kids feet and was cracking up....they had on each other shoes and they thought they were hilarious!!!! Notice Kaitlyn's dance tights on the left....a big hole in the toe...guess its time for another pair...oops!!

Last but not least is a video of my dancing queen. Kaitlyn asked me to video tape her doing a song and dance. I have no idea what she is singing but she was very proud of herself:)
