Dinosaur Dioramas!

The kids are learning about dinosaurs in school. They were assigned an at home family project and had to make dinosaur dioramas. This was a family project which meant the parents were involved. We had SO much fun making them! Here we are all set up and ready to start! Colin and I worked together:)
Colin was forming his volcano.
Daddy and Kaitlyn worked together:)

Cam and I didn't let the kids share ideas and we couldn't see what the other one was doing since the boxes were back to back on the table. I would ask Colin where he wanted things and vise versa for Cam asking Kaitlyn. The thing that is pretty neat is look where they put things. Without knowing they both put their volcano's and their suns on the same side along with other things:) Coincidence...maybe? Twins intuition....maybe?
The kids are SO proud of their projects!!! They worked really hard! Colin is really into dinosaurs so this project was right up his alley. He can tell you what each dinosaur eats and other fun facts:)
Kaitlyn's stories were too cute. She was telling me about her dinosaurs. Here's what she said "This dinosaur is going with her mommy to the mall to shop". Guess Kaitlyn still has more to learn about the dino age:)
We had so much fun and look forward to open house today and to see their displayed dioramas!
