Last night the kids and I were outside for an hour and a half enjoying the nice weather. I was reading my book while they rode their bikes and scooters, hit golf balls, played baseball(Colin accidentally hit the neighbors car with a whiffle ball...oops) and of course did chalk! Here they are all full of chalk being silly:)
You might wonder why Kaitlyn's hair looks wet. Well, the neighbors on both sides of us had their sprinklers going. They started by riding their bikes thru the sprinklers on the sidewalk. Then I look over and they are both off of their bikes running thru the other neighbors sprinkler in their lawn in their clothes. Seriously kids?!?!
Can you guess why Colin has chalk in his hair???
Its hard to see but they were tracing their bodies. Their are about 10 tracings along our front sidewalk...it looks like a crime scene in front of our house!!
This was too sweet that I had to share. We visited the library once every week all summer long. The kids LOVED going and we read more books this summer than ever! In fact Kaitlyn and Colin are beginning to read now too. They love to show off by reading their BOB Books! When I took the kids to the library this week they both picked out the same book. Neither one knew the other had picked it out and when we looked at their stacks of books before the checkout line they discovered they both chose the same book. The thing is that Colin's book was in the leveled book area and Kaitlyn's was in the holiday section so they weren't even near each other when they picked their books out!! Maybe its a twin ESP thing:)
