Pics from the week

What a week! First off the kids and I got rear ended last Thursday. We are all ok which is the most important thing. The "Twinali Denali" is ok too...just some minor scratches and a pea sized dent. We got lucky! The lady was really nice and after filing the police report(she got a ticket) and getting an estimate since it was under $500 worth of damage she just paid us for it. Glad its over with and everyone was ok. It really scared K & C as it was the first and hopefully last accident they will ever be in. Since being in the accident they have been playing "cars" a lot. Here they are driving with their paper plate steering wheels. Kaitlyn is always the mom and Colin has to "ride in the back". Its too funny!
On Monday my incredible husband said he would babysit Kaitlyn, Colin and Quintin so the girls could go get pedicures. He met us at Kels house straight from work and watched all 3 kids for us. How luck am I to have such an amazing hubby?!?!
The kids were climbing on him like he was a jungle gym:)

Here are the girlies....it was my Great Aunt Carmie, Kelly, myself, my mom and Lauren (my brothers girlfriend). What a special treat!! Speaking of treating....my mom treated all of us. Thanks mom!! My parents sold their old house and the closing was happening while we were getting our pedicures done. We texted my dad and said that we were celebrating their closing by having pedicures on him:) So thanks Dad!!!

Wed night Auntie Kelly and Q came over for dinner. With Uncle Randy's busy work schedule they are alone for dinner all week. So about once a week they join us for dinner. The kids took showers and got into their pj's. They were being silly:)

The last 2 weeks K & C have been in their 2nd session of intensive swim lessons. We paid for group lessons but nobody else signed up in their level so we were able to get private lessons!!! It worked out really well. At the beginning of the summer they were reluctant to put their faces fully in the water....now they are swimming all alone under the water, jumping in and swimming to the side of the pool and doing SO much more. Cam and I are so proud of them!! My pics did not turn out well at the indoor pool. Heres Kaitlyn jumping in.

Colin was swimming under the water to the wall all by himself!

Waiting for more instructions. Their teacher asked me how long they have been swimming because they were doing what the 5 year old class was doing. They moved up 3 levels this summer so we are excited to see what they will learn in the next class. We are going to take a break this fall and start back up during the winter.

Miss Sharon was an excellent swim teacher!!!!
